As a homeschooling parent I enjoy sharing tools with my children that allow them to explore the world and expand their understanding of how it works. This microscope is a wonderful teaching tool. It is a professional-level microscope with multiple lenses, which allows us to examine a variety of subjects from insects to cells. The range of magnification spans from forty times to twenty-five hundred times, which is strong enough to examine single cells and identify the major components. We are currently studying protists, so we took samples from our local river to examine under this microscope. Not only were we able to view multiple types of phytoplankton, including Ankistrodesmus, were even able to take photos and record video by attaching a phone to the eyepiece mount. I absolutely love that I can mount my phone, and all my students can view the same thing at the same time. This microscope comes with a sturdy, protective case made from cloth and lots of foam. It includes fifty blank slides and slips. The USB-C cord is handy, but this also runs on batteries, which makes this a great option for fieldwork. This is highly adjustable from the level of light to the placement of the slide to the focus of the lenses. As someone who doesn't regularly use a microscope, it was a bit of a learning curve for me. For this reason I would recommend this for children over the age twelve. In my opinion, this would work well for educational, scientific and professional purposes. I'm so impressed with this.

I got this microscope to conduct some experiments with my son. I was shocked at how good quality it turned out to be. it has an extremely high focus, allowing you to see very very close, and all the accessories came in handy to help us enjoy using the microscope. It was fairly easy to setup and it’s built very sturdy. It’s a bit heavy but that’s to be expected of a microscope, this size and power. It’s a very good product at a good value.

Unboxing was easy. No real set up needed other than to plug it in. I put my phone up to the eye piece to get these pictures which are different plant stems.

I’m a total novice using what I learned in Anatomy class. It’s easy to use and produced clear images.

This microscope is absolutely fantastic! The magnification is incredible; I can even see the tiniest details of microorganisms. Plus, it's super easy to use – no hassle at all. I've bought this microscope to help feed my daughter's interest in biology and science. We've also separately purchased a set of prepared slides with a good variety of samples that can be observed under the microscope, and it has been an interesting experience. This is a professional microscope with multiple eyepieces of different strengths. This model is manual and does not offer any digital connections. You will get a phone holder that allows you to take pictures using your phone's physical camera.

The whole set is pretty sizable and comes in a large carry bag. Therefore, I'll recommend it for folks who have the proper desk space to keep it, or alternatively, do not mind packing, storing and setting up again when needed. Being a professional grade instrument, there's also a lifetime warranty on the microscope.

In short, a highly capable technical instrument, provided at an extremely reasonable price, and will likely stay with you for a long time with proper maintenance. This scope easily gets 5 stars from me, and is highly recommended.

This scope comes in its own case/luggage, and I really appreciate that as I had to walk with it, well over a mile, the handle held up through it.
Obviously, this unit is a 'big-boy', real-deal professional model. It comes with a variety of lenses one can change out in a snap, and one can expand on this capacity by purchasing additional ones with higher magnification. I'm pretty sure too, after giving it a good once-over, the head itself could be replaced, preferably with a head that also has digital functions and capacities. This one is actually a step or two up from the ones we used at university and the biology classes.
Given that it is the holiday season it is only fair to add that this would be a great gift for the student or scientist in the family, like a telescope - there are many 'kids' who would love such a microscope.
