Smooth asf. It’s a little bit tight on the drag and there’s not adjustment however I’m sure it will break in over time

Head works good, only downfall is you have to totally loosen the rotating screw or it hits a “snag”. I like to use my heads with both swivel and pivoting screws just barely loose so there’s a little friction for smooth, slow movements. In that case, the left/right rotation will hit a snag and stop, forcing me to reach up and loosen the set screw more.

I purchased this for my father for Christmas and helped him mounted to his tripod. Very nice build quality and smooth movement. Great to have in your kit.

K&F makes some impressive products and this fluid head is right there with other products I have from them. Fit and finish are excellent, movements are smooth and predictable, and the adjustable length of the handle makes it easy to make compact for travel. The jaws on the clamp accept ARCA-style plates and my camera & cage slid easily into position and were held secure once tightened. The form and function of this fluid head exceeded my expectations and I feel is priced very competitively for what you receive. When products work as well as this one it is easy to recommend them.
