Light but sturdy ball joint Being able to remove the handle is very convenient. On the other hand, to avoid, like me, putting a burden on installing the handle, you have to remove one of the two washers. Has an arca swiss plate. The movements are smooth, without jerking, thanks to the hydraulic head.

I originally purchased this back in February 25 to replace the ballhead on my tripod as needed something more precise for Astrophotography.I was very happy with this item, seemed well made and felt solid for the reasonable price.Unfortunately it recently developed a fault (after around 9 months) where i was no longer able to tighten the pan bolt. I contacted K&F via their website and explained the issue, they quickly replied and agreed to send a replacement to me free of charge, this was very important as I was due to go away in a few days and really needed this before i left, it arrived within 3 days and in time for my trip.Great customer service experiance and would highly recommend.

Just perfect for my needs nice and smooth movement . There are cheaper versions but you can see the difference when paying more. I've had all sorts but this is by far the best.

Not used it yet, but I know I will. Had a K & F Concept CF tripod for a number of years with a Ball Head. While that was great for general pics, I always had to borrow a tripod with a fluid head to take fireworks pictures.I like the fact that it is both 3/8 and 1/4, (after I found the adjuster in the base, doh). but it makes it a very versatile head. Taking the arm off makes it easy to store and construction seems sturdy.
