This is a high quality filter with multi-layer glass nano-coating filtering with a metal alloy chassis with a size in my case for a 67mm lens/lens threaded filter holder (mainly medium-sized lenses and APSC or M4/3 formats), in the sales announcement you can buy the appropriate size for each lens (as a tip if you have several lenses/lenses with various sizes 62mm> 67mm> 72mm> 77mm> 82mm, not too far apart, and you do not want to invest in a variable ND filter for each of them, you can buy the largest size and then set aside a size adapter ring to attach it to the smaller lens, for example a 77mm to also adapt to 72> 67 lenses, or an 82 (usual for wide-angle focal lengths 24-70 FF Ex: 24-70mm 2.8) to adapt to 77mm (usual wide-angle to medium telephoto FF focal lengths) eg.24-105mm or medium to long telephoto lenses (70-200mm / 70-300mm ....); This variable ND filter system performs controlled light attenuations thanks to its rotary adjustment (ND2 > ND 32), making softened contrasts and giving a much natural look to photos even in intense sunlight (less harsh images). Thanks to its multi-layer construction in addition to resistance, it provides slightly defined attenuated images in their strong light / dark contrasts, without reflections or flares or chromatic aberrations, and no X pattern defects occur throughout the attenuation range as is often the case with other brands and models in lower ranges. It can correct light attenuation of up to about 5 steps (speed or aperture) or that allows working even at lower ISOs. It's actually a combination of two features in a single filter: variable neutral density (light attenuation while maintaining soft, unsaturated highlights with good skin textures in portraits) and black diffusion haze. By being able to work at lower shutter speeds, certain motion blur effects can be better achieved without affecting the brightness of the shots or their shallow depth of field. It's also very suitable for landscapes with long exposures and for achieving jump effects or silky water movements (waves, waterfalls, river courses, etc.).
