I wanted to replace an older UV filter that always seemed to darken my images. I tried this one form K&F as I've owned a tripod and monopod from them and like the quality. UV filters are priced anywhere from a few dollars to >$100, so I tried this one which is about middle of the pack. This filter is really thin and very clear and didn't notice any negative impacts to my pictures. I went ahead and purchased this model in different sizes for all my other lenses. The glass seems strong, and provides an extra layer of scratch protection to my expensive lenses.
