K&F Concept Cold Shoe Action Camera Magnetic Quick Mount Holder is mostly plastic but sturdy, well made plastic. Doesn't feel flimsy or like it will easily fail. The tilt has the right amount of resistance for positioning and the locking mechanism feels secure. Perfect for mounting my DJI Osmo Action 4 on my dslr, which is why I ordered it. It's versatile enough that I'm sure I'll find other uses but for now, that's my main need.

I was looking for something to use my action 5 with my DSLR. This is perfect! Size is ok for my needs and fits great in the cold shoe of my camera. Price is good for this accessory as well.

I've gotten quite a few items from this brand before, and this little adapter is right up there among my favorites. Now I can mount my Osmo Pro 5 anywhere there's a cold shoe, and the best part of all is the easy to use quick release orange tabs on the sides. So many times I struggle to access and push in those teeny releases buried under a cage body somewhere, but not these -- they're easy to find, easy to operate, and easy on the fingers. Solid construction with metal parts is another hallmark of this brand, and this adapter is no exception. Highly recommended.

I found this mount to be very helpful for a multicam shoot I did earlier this week. The cold shoe screw secured the camera nicely and was easy to adjust. I moved my osmo between there and a 1/4” light stand post with ease using the mounting hole on the bottom of the shoe.The magnetic clip mechanism is fantastic. It’s the reason I went with this mount, because I already have a different Osmo mount with the same mechanism. It is sturdier than the one that comes with the camera in my opinion.The adjustable joint is hard to move, which in theory is great. But over time I am worried it will loosen, and since there’s no tensioner screw it would then not be able to stay in one position without drifting or flopping.The I also wish the whole thing was aluminum instead of mostly (sturdy) plastic.

If you've got an action camera and sometimes need to attach it to a standard camera's cold shoe mount, this is a neat solution. The magnetic connection feels surprisingly strong – I gave it a good wiggle, and my Osmo Action stayed firmly in place. Plus, having the option of the 1/4" screw hole on the bottom adds extra versatility for attaching it to other supports or tripods. It's really quick to pop the camera on and off thanks to the magnet, which is great when you need to be fast. It feels well-built and doesn't add much bulk to your setup.

My Osmo Action 5 will stay on to anything with this mount. There is a clip that backs up the magnets. I can use this with just the camera or with the magnetic water proof case I have. This is a great find. I highly recommend this.

I recently got my Osmo Action 5 pro, and glad I got this accessory. It fits well either on the camera itself, or on a cage which I also have. A great piece of gear to add cold-shoe attachments such as microphones, lights or anything else you may need. Like most other products from this manufacturer, well made at a reasonable price.
