Versatile mount
I found this mount to be very helpful for a multicam shoot I did earlier this week. The cold shoe screw secured the camera nicely and was easy to adjust. I moved my osmo between there and a 1/4” light stand post with ease using the mounting hole on the bottom of the shoe.The magnetic clip mechanism is fantastic. It’s the reason I went with this mount, because I already have a different Osmo mount with the same mechanism. It is sturdier than the one that comes with the camera in my opinion.The adjustable joint is hard to move, which in theory is great. But over time I am worried it will loosen, and since there’s no tensioner screw it would then not be able to stay in one position without drifting or flopping.The I also wish the whole thing was aluminum instead of mostly (sturdy) plastic.
