This adapter is perfect for mounting DJI Action camera on top of a camera.This small adapter allows recording a video while taking photos.The build quality is excellent and the holder part is metal and feels sturdy. The angle adjustment portion is partially plastic but feels sturdy enough for Action camera or even heavier items.

A lot of people have already reviewed this, so I'll keep it brief.K & F has made a fine quick mount holder for my Osmo Action that I can hook to a cold shoe or any 1/4" light stand or clamp. It's going to come in very handy when using my camera in different locations (with assorted clamps) or when I want to put it on top of my mirrorless camera to be able to get two camera angles while holding one device.Some have mentioned that it's mostly plastic. I'm guessing that does help to keep the weight (and perhaps the cost) down. It may not make it quite as durable as an all-metal version, but my small Osmo Action camera shouldn't put too much strain on it and I don't tend to treat my gear roughly.I think it's a good addition to my camera bag.

This mount works extremely well and is widely compatible to attach and detach to the bottom of DJI Action 3/4/5 cameras. Has strong magnetic quick release, high contrast orange bayonet clips which are easy to find and press, and the cold shoe thread lock tightens quickly with the turn of the wheel. There is also a standard tripod mounting hole at the bottom. Most important is that the mount allows for flexible angle adjustment. Mine was a little tight at first but just holding the base firmly you can push the top piece to the angle you want.The construction is mostly plastic which makes it a bit bulkier than other DJI quick releases made of metal, but it is quite sturdy. You have to love a mount that gives you not only a cold shoe but also a tripod mount. And this is easy to attach and detach to my DJI Action 4 with a speed that is so amazingly quick. The price to value makes this an essential accessory so that you can attach your DJI action camera to any available tripod or selfie stick.

This is a somewhat bulky but lightweight and functional plastic DJI Action camera mount for cold shoe and 1/4-20. It's a little bulkier than the tripod mounts DJI includes with the Action cameras but it does provide both pan and tilt adjustments compared to the standard adapters that are tilt only, and of course it adds the cold shoe compatibility.A perfectly good use for this is as a replacement for the mount that came with the camera, if you've lost it or just want a second mount to leave on a tripod. Another good use for this is in conjunction with clamps that have cold shoes, to be able to clamp an action camera onto something - the clamp can be positioned for security, and this mount has enough articulation to allow you to point the camera as needed. Of course you can also use it to mount an action camera to your main camera to give you wide angle video that goes alongside whatever you are shooting.The mount is made of plastic but it seems sturdy. The action camera mount works well with aluminum hooks to hold the camera in place. I would probably prefer it if it was made of aluminum but to give the range of adjustment it would be just as bulky, and this seems to be as strong as it needs to be.Overall, it's a better version of the mount DJI provided, at a reasonable price.

I do social media contents with my photo camera, and pocket 3. This is great for combining both together. I just use this cold shoe mount to mount my pocket 3 on top of my photo camera. That way I can record while I am taking photos at the same time. This mount is super easy to use, it uses the DJI action mount. Works with any DJI devices with the action mount. That includes the Action 4, 5. Also there are action mount brackets can be purchased for different devices as well. I really like this cold shoe mount so far.

So this is almost entirely made of plastic except for the clips that hold your DJI Action Camera to the QR mount itself. Not necessarily a bad thing but other QR mounts that I have typically have been manufactured from aluminum. K&F makes some fine accessories and this is finished nicely for a plastic accessory. I am actually using this to mount my OSMO Pocket 3 with cage to a small portable tripod. The upside with this is that it is very lightweight compared to it's metal counterparts. Adjusting the tilt on this is a bit stiff and there is no adjustment to tighten or loosen the assembly. Subtract a star if you don't like plastic accessories. Only time will tell how well this holds up with travel.

This is the accessory I didn't know I needed until I used it, but it's now an indispensable part of my kit. Being able to capture simultaneous wide-angle shots with my Osmo Action 5 PRO while using my Canon 90D for either stills or video has been a game-changer.I'm currently using this to attach my Action 5 PRO to the 90D's hotshoe. There's a thin piece of rubber on the bottom of the adapter that helps prevent damage to the electrical contacts on the camera, and the knurled knob does a very good job of firmly locking the adapter in place.I did knock off one star because I do wish there were some way of adjusting the friction on the swivel part of the adapter. It's very stiff while new, which is great, but I'm concerned about being able to maintain that friction over time.
