82mm Solar Filter 16.6-Stops,ND100000 Solid Neutral Density Filter Solar Filter For Eclipse With 18 Multi-Layer Coatings For Dslr Camera Nano-Klear
SKU: KF01.2635V1
I used this filter to photograph the total solar eclipse with great results. I mounted in on my old Nikon D200 with the 18-200 Zoom and a tripod. This was likely a one-time use, but I would buy again.

When they say blocks out all light they are not kidding lol...which is a good thing. You can only use it when you have a direct view of the sun....if there are clouds you will see nothing. I've gotten amazing shots with it.....i love being able to capture the sun spots

The 67mm 100K offers great performance for the price. The solid materials feels premium and the image quality is decent offering no x patter or green cast.

The perfect item for getting quickly in focus and in position to follow the Full Eclipse as it unfolds...
As far as I can tell the optical quality is excellent... compared to what I got thru an 8" small telescope this filter on my Nikon 300-mm telephoto was nearly "as good" when focused right... AMAZING!!! thanks for this...

I had a Celestron solar filter which had an orange tint and did not let me take sharp pictures. Bought this and finally I got color neutral sharp pictures. Attached example taken with a Fuji APS-C 26Mpix sensor with a 300mm lens and 1.4x teleconverter (630mm equivalent)

Took some quick photos of the sun less than 30 secs total during clear mid day on Sony 200-600mm with 2x teleconverter at 1200mm. No damage to sensor, I’ll get one with a proper UV/solar filter infused glass instead to take decent photos to stack. This filter should work safely for 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.

I got this filter for the eclipse. I used a Canon M-50 Mk II with a 55-200mm lens, and I practiced with it some a few days before the big event. I learned to set the aperture as small as possible with the shutter speed as high as possible. I got a sunspot one day and the "Cheshire Cat" phase of the eclipse a few days later.

Purchased for the 4/8/24 eclipse and the pictures were only hurt by my lack of experience. The filter gave me the picture I hoped for.
