This is a great microscope! My kids have used it for a few weeks now and have really enjoyed it. The magnification is great! The quality of the images is fabulous. We have examined our own blood and saliva and could even see some movement in it. I‘m really happy with the capabilities of this instrument for the price!
The only down side to this particular piece is that it is only lit from below. If we want to examine something that can't be put on standard slide, we have to shine a flashlight on it. It does work that way :)

Im a nursing student and I have spent plenty of time looking at slides and microscopes and I can tell you this one is amazing. We bought it for our son as a gift and he likes it. Its clear and works as expected! Only downside is it doesn‘t come with a clear slide. I attached a photo of a thin slice of hot dog ( yes they are nasty! Lol) under this microscope.

So I bought this as a gift for my boyfriends mom, she’s like my mom and I wanted her happy. She fell in love with the idea of owning a microscope after her first biology class. When she opened up the box she burst into tears and grabbed a whole bunch of slides she already owned, she tried everything out and was excited to see everything working perfectly. The microscope was wrapped up carefully and nothing was broken. If you are someone looking to own a microscope I would hands down recommend this one.

This is an amazing quality microscope for the price. I am happily surprised! I have had so much fun looking at droplets of water, it’s a whole different world.

I got this scope and another off brand Chinese 2000 x scope and compared them side by side. You can see a bit of difference, but the Kentfaith beat out the other one on sharpness and brightness. The CheapScope actually was much dimmer than in the photo, but the phone I took the pictures with does great night shots.

good value. Great choice for a beginning middle schooler. We‘ll upgrade pretty quickly, though, so watch craigslist!

Well built, solid metal product. My four homeschooling students (one 4th grader, two 8th graders, and one 10th grader) delighted and excited to use this for our biology labs. Thank you for a quality product. We have had cheaper microscopes that we could barely make out any of the prepared slides. This one doesn‘t disappoint. When I did research on compound microscopes, this model appeared on many “best microscope" lists.

I‘m new to on-line ordering and somewhat skeptical. Held off on ordering blank slides because I honestly expected something to be askew with the microscope itself. Have to admit I am impressed. The packaging was infallible and not so much as a scratch on any of the lenses. Although the seller includes an AC adapter to plug into an outlet, they also courteously provided the three AA batteries needed for portability of the scope. The 25 prepared slides I ordered went over very well and my children were able to easily gaze in awe at the microscopic world, which was my very intention. It has both course and fine adjustment knobs, allowing you to put it to the test immediately. Excited to see that higher magnification objectives are available for this product and other accessories have already been ordered. To put it lightly, I am flabbergasted at the quality of this product compared to it's cost. Beginner microscope kits for kids may be alluring, but this is one that will surely grow with their interests and age. I am beyond pleased.

I can‘t believe that this is way cheaper than the legit brands, my mom couldn't afford an expensive one, and I had to have on ASAP for a biology test, so I started shopping on here, and I found this one! I thought that it would only work once or twice and my mom would be wasting her money, but no! It works Great! The only reason I gave it 4 stars for easy to use, is because it is a little tricky to set up, I had to have my mom to help, but it just takes a little bit of reading instructions to learn how to use it. Overall, a must buy!!
