A TOTAL BARGAIN - Excellent product, very sensitive and easy to use. Ignore the picture of the smartphone in the advertising graphics - it stands and functions 100% by itself for recording. It acts and functions like a flashdrive that records sound. For our purposes, it had an added advantage - you really need a computer to erase recordings, you can‘t easily accidentally erase anything. We used ours to get an oral history of her childhood from my aged mother in law. We were afraid we would accidentally lose something if we purchased on of the complicated alternatives, that all had tiny buttons and confusing displays. Its auto record mode shuts on and off automatically, recordings are time-stamped, and you can easily bring them onto your computer for editing with the included USB C cable. It's very small and unintrusive, excellent for our mission. It has a magnetic base, and can be stuck on any steel surface if you wanted to use it as a sound security monitor. There is an earphone/earplug interface, and earplugs with an inline remote control is included, but it is best accessed by a laptop or desktop, that sees it as a USB flash drive.
