Noticeably reduced glare. But some case designs will interfere with the mount sitting flush.
This lens filter mount allows you to add a polarising filter, or is compatible with other 58mm lenses.It fits the iPhone Pro Max 17 perfectly. The magnetic housing attached to the rear of your camera, covering all three lenses with a large circular polarising filter. Also included is a soft-shell case to keep the lens and mount adapter safe when not in use.In practice, it works well. The mount attachment uses the magnetic rear of the phone and sticks well. Image quality with the lens is perceivably better - in particular on sunnier days, or where you might find suffer glare (such as lakes and roads). The intensity of the glare-reducing effect can be adjusted by twisting the lens.Attaching the filter is easy - it screws on, and the other sensors remain unobstructed whilst the mount is on.On the down side, it's a little annoying there wasn't a lens cap included - it's a big glass lens that would be easy to scratch or collect dust. It also didn't quite fit my phone with the case on (I have a camera plateau protector so the mount doesn't quite lie flush. I did test with my partner's iPhone Pro Max 17 - her integrated camera plateau protector didn't seem to interfere. And without the case, it's also a perfect fit.So yes, with the polarising lens on, you will notice a much better image, with reduced glare. However remember to get a separate lens cap to protect the lens, and note that some cases will stop the mount sitting flush.
