Much better than those of big brands
VERY good quality material and good finishes (see photos), the truth is that I was VERY surprised: the protective lens case is great. So much so that I have the ones that come with the most expensive Canon lenses (yes, the L series) and this one is much better. Because of its padding and because it has a strap to carry it hanging; which is very attractive to me... because I usually carry the SLR with several lenses inside a backpack, but this one weighs, of course... and at the end of the day it shows. This way I can carry the backpack practically empty (except for cleaning tools, cards, batteries... normally, well) and apart from this cover, to carry another spare lens. So, on longer hikes, but which don't require carrying too much equipment, I can perfectly carry 2 objectives, the mounted one and the other, and 4 more crap... without my back feeling too much.

As I say (and you can see in photos) it is padded, perfect for stopping shocks and keeping the lens from suffering, it protects well against dirt and dust (that great enemy of every photographer, hahaha), and it's waterproof. So... great! :D It has everything.

It comes in a protected cardboard box for transport.
And the truth is that I have not found anywhere what kind of material it is made of. But you can see in images that it has quite a body, it is stiff and flexible at the same time; you can tell that it will last a long time.
It is soft to the touch and the padding is very thick, covering the entire cover (even at the top and bottom); the seams are well finished.
It also has an inner mesh pocket, in case we want to insert a clean cloth (very, very folded) or the cover of the lens itself. I loved the detail, honestly... And the strap can be adapted to the size we want, of course, and is attached by carabiners to the cover.
Other details are, for example, the handle that has the top plus 2 handles at each end of the back (which I don't know what they can be used for, really... maybe for passing a string, I don't know), the back strap to be able to hang it from a harness or belt (and which is closed with very strong velcros) and the finish of the 2 zippers with handles (which give them a better grip, I liked that).
The cover also comes with a pear to blow the dust particles that can slip through the lens and that always bring us upside down, hehe... What I haven't seen inside the box is the anti-slip shoulder pad that they say in the advertisement that comes with it... I don't
know.

The only bad part is that the one I bought is size S, and it's too small. I only fit the extension tubes, which I barely use anymore...
To give you an idea, Canon's 50mm 1.4, which doesn't have much diameter, doesn't fit anymore. Let's not say a 100mm 2.8, 17-35 2.8 or 24-70 2.8: forget about it, they don't fit.

You cannot wash it with water (nothing by hand or machine), only dry, or use bleach or put it in the dryer (see photo of the label).

I recommend it without a doubt. It's a very good cover and, as I said, it surprised me a lot, a lot; but... I'll have to buy another one of a larger size. The same thing I even ask for several...
