This camera is easy to install. Charge it up with the included USB-C cable when it arrives, then it can run from the included solar panel with about a 10‘ cord. Update the firmware (it does this automatically) , insert included micro data card and included trial SIM card, download the app, and it will establish communication over the wireless telephone network. You DO NOT need the Kentfaith base station to connect this camera, unless you want to use it in WiFi mode. The included SIM card is only good for 7 days or 100MB, but the app has links to where you can purchase cell connectivity 24GB or 1 year for $120, or 6 months for $80. (08/24 price). It will not work with a Verizon SIM card. I tried. It will work with an AT&T card, but they wanted $40 a month for their data SIM card. I chose the included option. It has many options like setting only certain times of operation, default camera position, and monitoring areas to ignore. It does track motion, and looks a lot like an eye following the motion around. The unit can be made to have an audible alarm or not when it detects motion. Very pleased.
