Have to be very close to detect anything.
Unless you are right on top of the object it doesn’t detect.

Great little device,so far works like a dream.
I got this to go along with a full sized metal detector.It's good for when I dig out metal scrape in the ground (rusty nails) or when I look for a knife or piece of metal in the tall grass.Great for light hikes and attaches to belt easy.

Used it to find property marker!
This worked perfectly to find property marker when planning where my new fence will go. Saved me $900+ for a survey job. Only thing is, the one corner of my property has a chainlink fence along the one side, so I could not find it due to the neighbors fence setting it off. So we just measured the distance from the other markers to find the missing one.
