K&F CONCEPT Variable ND Filter Compatible with DJI Mini 5 Pro, ND32-512 5-9 Stops Multicoated HD Optical Glass Lightweight Drone Camera Lens Accessories for Aerial Photography Video Recording
SKU: KF02.0004
I’ve been using the K&F CONCEPT Circular Polarizer Filter with my DJI Mini 5 Pro, and it has completely changed the way I capture aerial photos. The clarity and richness in color are immediately noticeable, especially when shooting over water or bright landscapes. Reflections that used to distract from my shots are now almost completely gone, giving my images a much more professional and polished look. I love how it enhances blue skies and brings out cloud detail without making the colors look fake. Installing the filter was quick and secure, and I appreciate that it stays firmly in place even in windy conditions. The lightweight build makes no difference to flight performance, which was something I was initially worried about. It also feels solid and well-made despite its minimal weight. Cleaning it has been easy, and I’ve noticed no scratches or smudges after several uses. The included case keeps it safe and organized when I’m out in the field. This filter has become an essential part of my drone gear, especially for scenic and landscape flights. I’m really impressed with how much better my photos look overall. If you enjoy capturing vivid and realistic aerial shots, this filter is absolutely worth it.

Great accessory for the DJI MINI 5 PRO. Attaches easily or works as expected. Filters are a must have for many reasons. DJI only gives the ND filters, so it worth get this one. I think it's a great bargain. Quality seems extremely good. Even the box and case it came in was very professional and nice. Not some cheesy bubble wrap. You can tell this company cares about their products!

I am satisfied with this set of 6 ND filters from K&F. They come in a box that protects them well and with a small cloth. The build quality is very good. They are very light and look sturdy. I have had them for a week and due to time, I was only able to use them today. I had a bit of trouble putting them on because the drone's nacelle rotates in all directions. In general, we hear a “click” when they are securely attached to the basket. I have not always heard this “click” and except for one time when a filter came off when the drone took off, they held up well. They reduce light well and therefore overexposure. They add nice motion blur to videos shot with the drone. They also protect my drone's sensor. However, I did not find a huge difference between the filters except for the ND1000 filter which filters the light enormously. It is true that the weather this afternoon was very uncertain with lots of clouds and lots of sunshine and the natural light was constantly changing. I tested all the filters on my drone and was still satisfied. However I would have preferred to have a CPL filter instead of an ND1000 filter and for the “clips” to be a bit longer.

In my opinion, these filters are an absolutely useful addition to the Mini 5 Pro and should end up in every pilot's pocket. Because DJI does not include any filters and the lighting conditions are rarely so favorable that no filters are required. In terms of workmanship, the filters are also great. They are easy to install and hold their position reliably. The filters all weigh just over 1.5 grams and should therefore still pass the C0 certification tolerances in most cases. So a good choice for Mini 5 Pro owners or for those who want to become one and fly with certain demands on their video material.

I bought this K&F Concept variable ND filter kit for DJI Mini 5 Pro and was very happy with it. The package includes two filters: an ND2-32 and an ND32-512, covering practically every light condition, from cloudy skies to full sun days. The transition between the various density levels is smooth, with no shots or sudden changes in tone, making them perfect for videos and photos with controlled exposure. The optical quality is excellent: the lenses are sharp, do not introduce color dominants and effectively reduce reflections and flares, even in direct light. The anti-reflection effect and light transmission are really good, with a clean and natural final result. During the flights I did not notice vignetting or loss of definition, a sign of an excellent construction. The design is light and precise, it attaches perfectly to the Mini 5 Pro gimbal without altering its balance or interfering with stabilization. The materials transmit solidity, and the scratch-resistant and water-repellent coating is a detail that makes the difference during outdoor use. The kit comes in a well-made hard case, with a handy microfiber cloth included for cleaning the lenses. It is clearly a product designed for those who want to obtain more cinematic shots, controlling times and diaphragms in a professional way. In short, a set of very high quality filters, with excellent optical performance and impeccable construction. Perfect for those who use the Mini 5 Pro even in creative or professional settings and want to take their images to a higher level.

A fundamental accessory for anyone who wants to shoot movies with a Mini 5, ND filters are already included at the factory but are of low levels, this ND filter (acronym for Neutral Density) integrates those already present at the factory, extending the functionality up to 9 stops of reduction (equal to ND512). An ND filter does not change shades or colors, but simply darkens the image that hits the sensor. This reduction in brightness forces the sensor to work either at higher ISO, or (what we need) to extend exposure times. To have a cinematic effect (where the shooting is therefore very smooth) to make it very short, the opening time of the sensor must be equal, at most half, of the framerate chosen for the video. Practical example: video at 30FPS (30 frames per second), the aperture of the single frame must be from 1/30 to 1/60 of a second to appear very smooth. Without these filters, for cameras with a fixed diaphragm aperture, it is impossible to achieve such opening times, as often, depending on the ambient light, more than 1/320 1/500 can be easily worked. This means that our videos will appear “snappy”, and the only way to make them smoother is to increase the framerate (bringing it to 60fps). This K&F filter is extremely useful because it helps to reduce with important stops (from 5 to 9, therefore for extremely bright environments), but above all in a dynamic way: we do not have to replace the filter but we simply have to rotate the ring dynamically to obtain the desired result. In the field, all we have to do is apply the filter, frame more or less the area we intend to film and rotate the ring to obtain the desired result. Since we don't have control over the diaphragm, we'll have to keep the aperture fixed (following the example from before, setting 1/30 aperture), keep the ISOs automatic and adjust the ND filter stop ring until the ISOs are around 200-300, this to have a bit of “play” even if the filter set is not sufficient, framing even brighter areas. By doing so, our videos will be properly exposed and perfectly cinematic. The quality of this filter is high: the body is made of plastic to save weight, but the attachment to the gimbal is perfect and solid. The lens does not have the slightest distortion, the ring is “weighted” just right, it doesn't take too much effort to turn it but at the same time it's firm enough not to move inadvertently. It comes in a practical box to carry it in the bag, and a cloth to clean it if necessary. Really a great product, in my opinion sold at a price in line with its quality.

Not a must for every shot, but when you need them, they just work great. The colours look natural and richer, not fake-richer, just the perfect balance for my shoots to look professional without much editing. It’s not magic — it’s practical. The quality is good, the build is thin, so no dark corners in your shoots. Highly recommended. These are perfect when light is working against you without changing the colour of the scene.

I have a Mini Pro 5 and was interested in trying filters for the first time. These took a little while to suss out, but there are tutorials on YouTube regarding when and why to use them, and also how to fit. They clip on snugly over my DJI Mini Pro 5 lens, and don't feel like they'll be coming off during flight time. I'd need a good few hours to test all the different lenses out, and reproduce the footage on my pc, but so far so good. I only film countryside scenes (for my wild camping YT channel) and the richness of greens was easily apparent as opposed to not having a filter on. Unsure how much use I'll get from them, as I use a lot of 'master shot' settings on my drone, and shots like these encompass 360 degree turns.
