The magnetic quick-release adapter from K&F Concept is a relatively sophisticated and extremely practical addition for anyone using a DJI Osmo Action 3/4/5 Pro. It is particularly helpful as a replacement or second mount, for example when you have lost the original part or simply need a second fixed mounting option on a stand or clamp. That is exactly what I use it for and I am very satisfied. Thanks to the ColdShoe connection, the camera can be mounted not only on classic stands, but also on a DSLM/DSLR. The magnetic quick-release fastener works reliably, the lock with the aluminum hooks is secure and stable. Although the housing is mostly made of plastic, the workmanship is solid and robust enough for typical applications in action or vlogging areas. 

The adjustability of the angle is another advantage, as you can flexibly adjust the viewing angle, particularly helpful when filming from unusual perspectives. The bottom line for me is that this adapter is sturdy, lightweight, versatile and absolutely fair in terms of price. Clear 5 stars.

I was looking for a cold shoe mount for my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. That's when I saw them and decided to go for it. At first glance, the adapter made a very good impression. It is robust and very neatly finished. The magnetic quick release with the side clips is bombastic and can be released easily and quickly. The contact surface is rubberized so that my action cam is not damaged and stuck. I like the cold shoe mount best, which offers me flexible uses. In conjunction with a protective cage that is open at the bottom, it fits perfectly with my Osmo Action 5Pro, as well as with the 3 and 4 series versions. When using the camera, be sure to press down on the clips gently until they snap in correctly. The fixation is then bomb-proof and holds flawlessly. The price/performance ratio for this cold shoe adapter is good and I am very satisfied with it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review. This mounting for the DJI Osmo action cameras from K&F Concept comes in a simple plastic window pouch along with a small product information sheet.The mount attaches to the magnetic clip on the action camera or the plastic frame if you have that installed, and gives the option to mount the camera on either a camera's or accessory's shoe clip, or to bolt it onto a tripod using the standard 1/4-inch thread.The mount has orange aluminium alloy clips either side to latch onto the action camera together with the magnetic clamp. This means it's not reliant on the magnetic properties which often aren't sufficient to hold the camera alone. The clips operate smoothly without too much spring resistance, and hold the camera in place very effectively. There is also a silicone ribbed pad on the base to prevent slippage and provide a little cushioning.The top part of the mount can be tilted forwards and backwards. It only uses friction to hold it at the selected angle, so this pivot point has the potential to wear over time and become looser. There's also no notch feeling to help indicate when the mount is moved back to the vertical position which would be useful.The cold shoe attachment has a clamp ring which can be tightened to keep the mount in place.The 1/4-inch thread on the base is made from brass and has good depth which should accommodate the bolts found on most tripod and other camera clamps.In use with our Action 5 Pro camera the mount snapped into place, held the camera securely, released it readily when the side clips were squeezed, and looked very professional.This mount is well-made and gives some nice extra secure mounting options. We use tripod-mounted cameras quite a bit, so having the Action 5 Pro now able to use them too is a great bonus.

It is a good-quality piece of hardware with a robust and sleek build. The magnet, in particular, has a strong attachment when being clipped onto the camera. It should also be noted that you can only put the mount on one way around due to the magnet's orientation - care should be taken to ensure the DJI is facing the right way.I requested it because I like to go out on walks to take photographs of wildlife, and sometimes record video. Having the option to use my DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro at the same time as my camera will open up a lot of possibilities. On that subject, I had no issues using the mount with my Sony A7Riv (via a cold-shoe mount adapter).In summary, a good value item.
