For the price this is a great spotting scope. It’s not nitrogen filled or particularly weather proof and if you make your living scouting for big game or something like that you are going to get a much better scope.But for users who occasionally want to look at objects in the sky or wildlife you cannot beat the price.
Also I think this would be a great scope for your kids who are interested in astronomy.
I think it’s much better than those intro telescopes sold at hobby stores and much easier to use.

The scope feels well-made and solid, and the focus and magnification knobs are tight and operate smoothly. The built-in lens hood is nice and the rubber lens caps fit well.

I‘ve used binoculars for a long time, but have seen the upsides of a spotting scope for birding and other wildlife viewing. This scope is very light but has key features (waterproof) of more expensive scopes. It's just the right scope for me right now.

We purchased this scope for our son who wanted to get a better view of the moon and we took it along on a recent trip. We were so grateful that we bought the scope because our binoculars were not strong enough for the distance.

The spotter scope is amazing! It‘s very light weight and easy to set up. The view through the scope is incredible. I took the scope with me to bird watch, and to see Swans in such detail was breathtaking. You feel so close to what you're viewing with the great magnification. This scope will definitely be a favourite item to bring along when I venture into nature. There is simply no downfall when using this scope to view the world around you.

This is exactly what I expected in a spotting scope. very clear, wide view and easy to focus. The stand is very sturdy and well made. very happy with this product at an affordable price.
