We took this scope to the lake yesterday along with our best binoculars and set it up on a small table. I had no trouble managing it because it‘s compact and lightweight. Identifying birds at great distance with the binoculars was tough but with this spotting scope we could clearly see the identifying marks of pintail and shovelers, mallards, avocets, and gadwall ducks splashing in the water. The images were crisp and clear. This is a good quality scope that will last.

If you can see this, maybe you don’t need it but us that are a bit older but still want to see far way, this is required. Great piece of glass and zoom enough for me to see if I hit my target or not at 1000 meters.
