The K&F Concept 49mm Explosive-Proof MCUV Lens Protection Filter is an excellent addition to your camera gear, especially if you’re serious about protecting your lenses while maintaining high-quality images. With 28 multi-layer coatings, this filter ensures clarity and reduces reflections, making it perfect for both 4K and 8K photography. I love that it’s ultra-slim and lightweight, so it doesn’t interfere with the camera’s handling or add unnecessary bulk. The waterproof and scratch-resistant design is particularly impressive, offering peace of mind when shooting in challenging conditions or on the go. Whether it's protecting against accidental drops or harsh environmental elements, this filter provides a robust layer of defense for your lenses. The Nano-X series also means top-tier performance, with minimal impact on image quality—perfect for photographers looking to get the best out of their equipment.

Overall a good UV filter. I'm not sure whether they're actually *explosive* proof, but they seem to be sturdy enough, and don't detract from light transmission too much. It seems to screw onto my lens quite well, too, fairly smoothly.

picked up this lens filter to use with my Nikkor 100-400mm lens and it does not disappoint. The glass is crystal clear and easy to clean. The frame is solid and threads on to my lens with ease. You can use your lens cap with the filter to keep it protected while not shooting. K&F offers a 20% coupon when purchasing, so the filter is very affordable at $35 compared to other brand filters of the same size. Very pleased and highly recommend.

The product description of this filter says 77mm, but there are multiple sizes to choose from in the product listing so be sure you choose the right size. It’s a little confusing, so don’t just go by the product title for the filter thread size. That said the K&F Concept UV filter is a decent quality filter. The filter ring seems to be aluminum, and usually I would prefer brass, but it’s light weight and easy to grip. It is low profile enough that it does not vignette on my Nikon 14-30mm F4 lens at 14mm. It’s not the most amazing filter but it really does serve its purpose perfectly fine.

The filter protects the front glass of my lens and does not allow UV rays to enter the lens. It is the exact measurement of the 77mm lens. Its glass is of excellent quality and does not distort or change the sharpness of the images. It is a very good filter.

always use UV filters for my lenses, primarily for the scratch and drop protection they provide to the front element. K&F Concept has a reputation in the photography and content creation industries of providing high quality accessories at a reasonable price. The K&F Concept “Explosive Proof” MCUV Filter features a dual-layer bonding process that keeps shattered fragments securely in place even if the filter breaks, offering extra protection. Part of the Nano-X Series, both sides of the filter are polished for enhanced light transmission, ensuring sharp, crystal-clear image quality with no loss in clarity. The filter reduces UV rays and is described as “weakening” the blue tone in images, which should provide a more neutral or flat image or video footage. In using this with my Nikon Z 24mm f1.7 lens, I did not see any issues with colors or vignetting. The filter, with double-sided, 28-layer nano coating that help make it water, oil, and scratch resistant, easily screwed on to the lens and accepted without issue the lens cap. Highly recommended!

have come to rely heavily on K&F Concept filters and wares. Their quality is excellent and, as with this lens filter, are definitely forward thinking/looking in their product offerings. This filter is said to be explosive-proof.. I am not 100% sure if that means the filter won't explode when dropped or if it is impact resistant and will take the brunt of the force? The instructions/information allude to both cases so I'll just roll with that! From time to time I do find myself in or around areas where things might get a little dicey.. I shoot in industrial areas where debris might get airborne, and I shoot sports where things have come hurling towards me/my cameras, and when I shoot F1 or other high speed auto events there is always flying debris along the track. All that said, I can absolutely see a use case for this type of protection! The filter itself is extremely well made and machined to perfection. I have yet to find ANY defects in my growing collection of K&F Concepts kit. The filter screwed right on to my Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM III with ease. Very satisfying... NOTE: Never over tighten filters! Once on my camera, I took a few test shots (with and without the UV filter) and there was no discernible differences in the images. I took pics in strong/direct light, diffused light, and at dusk and again no issues at all. No haloing, no vignetting, no streaking, no bright/dull spots. Everything was just fine! The description says that 98.9% of light is transmitted through the filter which I absolutely believe to be true.

have used several K&F filters over the years for my various cameras. Found I needed one for shooting with one of my older standard ones. This is a great quality filter. The photos of my sunflowers are coming out amazing. I was getting a bit frustrated with some of the shots this summer with the light not being quite right and sun messing with things more than has happened in the past. When using this filter it is not changing the quality of my photos but it is making the clarity better on the type that I was so hoping it would .

This is perhaps the most expensive UV filter I have purchased. It is an explosive proof filter, just like the bullet proof window? Recently I purchased an on-sale Lumix Leica 25-50/1.7 for $1,500, the most expensive zoom lens I owned. So, the price of this UV filter is justified. This NANO-X filter weighs only 19g, while a K&F NANO-D 77mm is 14g. For my LED light test, this filter makes a light green circle, and generally good UV filters have white circles. Nevertheless, there is no obvious color shift. The main reason to have this filter is explosive proof, and not for color accuracy. For this 77mm armor UV filter, K&F Concept put it in a solid 10cm round plastic box with lock. And I haven't seen it before.
