Good 1/4 black mist filter for Fuji X100V, certainly very well made and fits perfectly with this model (especially the silver version), of higher quality than average and that gives that slightly more vintage, soft and imperfect touch to the photos, something that most owners of this camera will surely appreciate.
The price is not low, but seeing other products for the X100V I don't even find it exaggerated, given that the workmanship is remarkable: for me it deserves 5 stars, truly an excellent product.

Without an adapter and perfectly tailored to the look, here comes one of the most popular effect filters for the X100 series. And yes, black mist on this camera is simply a lot of fun if you know what you're doing and like, or even love, this effect. In the latter case, this filter can easily stay on the camera more often, or even permanently. 1/4 is still quite restrained, and one or two weaknesses of the Fuji lens are thus transformed into something that can also be considered a style, especially if you shoot with the Fuji frequently.
And then you can also see that the optical performance doesn't have to hide from the market leader in professional cameras, and the manufacturing quality certainly doesn't.
In my opinion, a must-have for X100 owners who prefer a softer look and the special play of light and are a bit bored with the Fuji lens.

With this filter, we achieve a subtle diffusion effect that is very useful for portraits, softening skin imperfections without losing the essence of the details.

The design of my Fuji X100T remains intact even with the filter, which is cool.
The filter quality is excellent, as always with K&F. Even though it's still an entry-level filter, it will be sufficient for most people.

Black Diffusion Filter.
The filter itself is very well made, nice quality metal ring, good quality screw thread with a clear glass black filter. The filter helps you diffuse the light to help you control the contrast, similar to a neutral density filter, but this also softens the image to give a more cinematic look.
A nice additional to your in camera control rather than trying to force change in post production.

I think this is one of those filters you'll either love or hate - for a fair while I wouldn't even entertain one of these.
But having got this one, which fits perfectly and feels as high quality as you'd expect from K&F, I'm loving it. The gentle soft bloom (I think that's the correct term) that it gives is very attractive. Of course if you're not into that kind of effect then it's not for you, but for anyone who is into it this gives a very nice example of this type of effect.
It's not something I'd use every single time I take photos, but for flattering portraits of my wife and kids I'm pleased with it.
The only slight nitpick I can think of is that as it's a silver filter housing it looks a bit odd on my Black X100V - that's a personal taste thing, but for me I think I'd have prefer a black one.
