I got this filter for my long-awaited Fujifilm X100VI. This is a 1/4 strength black mist diffusion filter, and it provides a very subtle diffusion effect which works very well for slightly softening portraits. The silver frame of the filter is a great match for the silver of the camera and looks very good when screwed on. I plan on leaving this filter on my camera all the time (it's great for protection as well as for the diffusion effect) but I appreciate that is comes with a hard plastic storage case to keep it safe if I do remove the filter.

K&F also makes a clear UV protector version of this filter, so if you like the idea of a protective filter on your X100 camera but don't want the diffusion effect that this particular filter provides, you could opt for that instead.

The filter has a magnetic frame that allows you to add K&F's magnetic filters. I have some of these filters in a larger size that I use for my Nikon DSLR and it's a great system so I likely will buy a couple of 52mm magnetic filters to use with this filter; I'd like the polarizer and ND filter. I've collected more than 10 K&F filters over the years and have always been super happy with the quality. They make great products and this one is no exception. Highly recommended if you're lucky enough to own a camera from the X100 series!

if you don't want a hood. This is a great filter to protect your lens.

It's been on my X100VI since day one! For protection and, of course, for the look.

I'm very satisfied:
High quality,
Delivery was very fast,
It screwed on perfectly.

And as I said, it's been on since day one. My lens hasn't seen any dust :)

You can't go wrong with this.
And if you're buying such an expensive camera, you have to be able to afford something like this.

I also have a Square Hood. It makes the front a bit larger, though.
This attachment is more compact.

I definitely recommend it.

Love these type of filters as they don’t need an additional adapter run in order to fit your filters. Also makes the camera slightly smaller compared to when you used an adapter ring with filter on it and therefore fits better in bags or cases. In regards to the filter quality itself , it does what it says. Can’t complain.

the quality and look of these are really nice, they are kinda close to x100vi colour but its fine as they do look premium. I can confirm that k&F magnetic lens caps work great on these

A perfect filter for softening contrasts and giving photos a cinematic effect. It reduces highlights while maintaining beautiful sharpness. Ideal for those who want to add an artistic touch to their images.

I recommend getting the UV version instead. I spoke to K&F support and magnetic 1/4 and 1/8 black mist filters are coming in April.

If you go for the UV Version you can have your lens always permanently protected and stack a magnetic 1/4 or 1/8 diffuser on top and then further stack a magnetic lens cap on top. This way your lens is always protected from the elements and your black mist filter is hot swappable. I love the black mist look but in direct light it can really wash out a scene and flares too much so being able to quickly pivot is ideal for me.

Good sharpness and dispersion quality. The ring fits well and the material is as expected. Good quality.

For me, best filter since it is slightly smaller than a similar looking Haoge version. This K&F filter is more low profile and adds a 1/4 diffusion filter which I love. The filter looks native to the camera.

I already use various diffusion filters on my M4/3 and full-frame setups, and I was just missing one for my trusty old silver Fuji X100, so this review was the perfect opportunity. Once the original adapter ring is removed, the filter screws on perfectly, and although it's black, I find it fits well on my silver model.

The visual impact is relatively subtle with this 1/4 intensity model, whether it's off-camera or in the evening with city lights or indoors, which are well diffused with a glow around it that varies in intensity depending on the conditions. It's that more cinematic and visually pleasing touch that I was looking for.

There's a slight loss of sharpness, but that's the nature of this type of filter, so it's not surprising. It also softens the skin a little, so it's very nice for portraits.
