83''/2.1m Camera Video Tripod For Dslr Compact Aluminum Tripod With Fluid Head And 5kg Load For Travel And Work K234a7+fh-03
SKU: KF09.136
For the price, and if you're just using a small DSLR, this works fine. The fluid head is just ok, but can only work with light loads. The clasps to adjust the legs height are plastic which will fail over time. I wouldn't suggest this for cameras with longer lenses or cinema cameras since the fluid head is not 100% perfectly fluid. And I'd suggest using a manfrotto quick release plate system instead of the area type that come with it for quick ease of use. Monopod option is nice.

not the lightest, but for the price its a pretty good value I'd say. the fluid head is very smooth and seems to be very sturdy overall.

Folds small, light, extends tall, Build quality, and head only OKA very compact small bag, very light to carry, and extends tall are the great strengths of this tripod. There aren't too many with this combination of features in this price range. It's a great combination for a travel tripod. The instructions are simple and easy to follow although its use is very intuitive. It comes with a hex wrench with no explanation where it's used but that can be discovered. Unfortunately, there's no small pocket to put it in the tripod so you're at risk of losing it.The aluminum is on the thin side so could be damaged under pressure. Also, the snap locks aren't the sturdiest plastic, can probably break under pressure and I'm not sure how they'll hold up over time. The head is more friction than fluid although seems to have enough damping to pan smoothly. Tilting has a bit of spring to it so it won't flop. There's a level ball which is impossibly small and hard to see. Trust your camera's level guide instead. The pan arm can't be switched to either side like some other tripods so lefties may need to think differently. That you can detach one leg for use as a simple monopod is a nice additional feature as it's an important bit of flexibility when you must travel light.I'd consider this primarily a photographer's tripod with some video capabilities given the head can pan and tilt smoothly but you won't mistake this for a professional fluid head. It's serviceable and nothing more.Even with the above faults, there are times when packing small and light are mission-critical when you're traveling. Its height is impressive although as a light tripod, you'll want to use the center column hook to add some weight for stability. I usually use my camera bag for that.Overall it's a good tripod given its goals although I do think the flip locks can be made of better-quality plastic.

This tripod works great and the fluid head is smooth. This is a very sturdy tripod. It is almost entirely made out of Aluminum and is pretty light. It comes with a nice bag that is made well. This tripod is very compact and folds down smaller than any other tripod that I own. I like that this can turn into a monopod, although it isn't the fastest thing to setup. The feet have metal spikes on them to better anchor the tripod, but it also has rubber feet you can unscrew to cover the spikes so you don't damage floors.Overall, this is a versatile tripod that is very compact and very sturdy.

This is a review for the 83 inch version. The tripod inside the included bag measures 20 inch long. It's not the smallest tripod as there are many shorter tripods on the market, but being 20" folded and reaching 83" height expanded is very versatile. The tripod's construction is average for this price range. The tripod legs lock via snap closure instead of rotating, which helps easily distinguish whether the legs are properly locked or not.The tripod head is pretty good considering its price and small size. The rotation is decently smooth. The tripod legs feel very sturdy considering its price. I've seen some more expensive tripods with flimsier legs.Lastly, the tripod bag is well made and padded, which is a pleasant surprise.Overall this is an excellent tripod if you want something affordable yet has a tall maximum height. The

A good starter tripod. It's built well, albeit with pretty thin and loose legs. The coloring reminds me of Gordon Freeman from Half Life. The main legs are less than an inch wide so you can imagine by the time you expand it all the way the final expansions pretty thin. The head movement is smooth and great, and dampening it a little with the controls was quick and easy to do. The knob for the tilt function is pretty and fully metal but it would of been nice to have rubber on it. It's a little brutal to adjust in the cold or wetness. The bag the tripod comes with is pretty great and nice quality. In fact it's all really nicely built for the cost. It's not a "Last tripod you would ever own" tripod, but it's a pretty good one that is both aesthetically pretty and functional. It does have a lot of spare features like the detachable monopod leg, hook on the center column, and reverse collapsibility that make it that much more awesome.

Much sturdier than a flimsy, portable tripod/selfie stick combo. Has many adjustment options including height, tilt, swivel, quick release plate, portable, etc. Easy to attach a camera to the release plate. I have an accessory (purchased separately) that also lets me attach a phone. The tripod design allows for pretty substantial stability… I don’t have a long lens to test with it, but it feels stable. I wouldn’t call it a professional grade solution, but for a home hobbyist like me, it does everything I need.

Very good workmanship, no cheap plastic junk. Very stable yet lightweight. Certainly not the cheapest model, but I would buy it again.
