Lightweight tripod with very nice design and materials, this version was a special edition for video with the fluid head.It fits well in a backpack, is not heavy at all but is very sturdy and fast to adjust the height.Swiss arca plate, that matches with al my other tripods and accesories like Dji Ronin gimbal.Recommend 100%.

The stand is delivered in a sturdy box, which also holds away one or the other “rustic” treatment. The stand itself is in the carrying bag, wrapped in a plastic case, with the fluid head also covered with bubble wrap. The package includes an attractively long and adjustable shoulder strap that can be attached to the bag. It also includes an Allen key (which you need to convert to a monopod) and a short instruction manual in Chinese and English and with sufficient illustrations. Although you don't really need them at all. Anyone who has ever worked with a stand will be able to understand and operate it intuitively. Even beginners should be able to do the same, because you basically can't do anything wrong. The fasteners for the legs grip securely, the locking mechanism for the extendable part keeps the pipe securely. The metal spikes are “hidden” in the rubber feet to turn in and out for use on rocky surfaces or similar terrain. The stand makes a solid impression, does not wobble (and if you do, you have forgotten to tighten any screw with your hand;)) and is still quite acceptable as a companion on hikes. What particularly impressed me was the perfect coordination of the fluid head. It can be guided in any desired direction with gentle finger pressure and stops there without yielding when you have at least halfway balanced the camera or camcorder on the interchangeable plate. The first assignment at an organ concert in a church was also an experience for the cameraman, as no further adjustments were necessary after shooting the camera: Let go and nothing moved anymore. Honestly, I was stupid not to have bought this stand long ago. Buying recommendation? Yes, absolutely: Quick to assemble and disassemble, more than attractive workmanship, absolutely reasonable price. It was really worth it.

Ease of Use: Setting up the tripod is quick and straightforward. The leg locks are secure and easy to operate, and the adjustable centre column adds flexibility. If you're travelling this might be perfect for you.

This is a really excellent, solidly built and lovely looking and feeling tripod. All the moving parts are weighted and move smoothly, the locks all lock in to place tightly and have no problems holding pretty much any weight of DSLR and then some. I actually put my camera on it whilst it was mounted on a gimble and had the microphone attached just to see how it would hold up and it was completely fine. It is a touch heavy, coming in at 2kg, so it's probably more suited to being in a studio or other static place, but it does have a padded carry case with a crossbody strap, so you can carry it out with you and it's really not that much of a big deal. Honestly, out of the box, this is an amazing deal and probably the only thing it lacks is a 360 ball head, but I did look them up and see you can buy a matching ball head for not too much, so that's great. For the price I think this is a fantastic bit of kit and easily up there with any other quality tripod. It's all in the attention to detail and build quality for me and this nails it. I even think it looks good with the anodised orange parts, and whilst that may not be top priority, it's definitely an added benefit. Well recommended.

Bought this for use as an EQ mount for my Seestar S50 telescope, and it's been working great!The fluid head makes for easy adjust to get the telescope dialed in precisely.One thing that you will need as a Seestar user is an 1/4" female to 3/8" male adapter for the mounting shoe, as I didn't realize the tripod came with only a 1/4" screw.Other than that, it's great!!

Been using it for press conferences and it does the trick.

This is a perfectly solid tripod that folds up nice and small. All of the material is metal and the color scheme is refreshing to me. I like that even the handle is smaller while still being useful. Everything about this exudes usefulness and practicality while having a high level of quality.

As others have noted, this is one heck of a solid tripod.
