First off, this came packaged beautifully. It came in a nice carry case. The inside of the case is lined with foam for all the pieces to be carefully placed. Each piece is quality made. Does not feel cheap whatsoever. I am not a science person, and know nothing about microscopes. I ordered for my daughter, so is huge in science (currently getting her PhD in microbiology) - she said this microscope is fantastic! She is so impressed with this. Immediately fired it up and started looking at slides. She said the quality of this is amazing.

I got this to sort and identify a bunch of jewelry I got from a relative. The last time I used I microscope was my sophomore year in college (biology class). This microscope isn't specifically for jewelry but it worked well. I was impressed with the case and all the attachments. My granddaughter came over when I had it set up and we had a good time looking at all sorts of things together.

I bought this for my 12 year old son's birthday because he is very into investigation, research and science. He is also beyond a "play microscope set". He was so excited and has used this to look at so many different things and has opened his imagination and sparked his desire to do more research. So much better than sitting in front of a computer playing games all day.
It is all metal and comes in a nice carrying and storage protective case, it comes with a sample set and a kit to take your own samples. There are several lenses on the rotary wheel above the sample that allows you to choose your magnification as you like. It has two lights - one for backlighting the sample and another one to help you properly position the sample in a first place. it is a powerful machine that even has a USB adapter and viewing software included as well as phone adapter. Very solid product, well worth its price.

The camera function doesn’t even worth with a smartphone idk why there’s one displayed in the advertisement. Matter of fact the camera function doesn’t work at all. Waste of almost $300. I had it out of the packing for 10 minutes before it went in the trash. Thing is absolutely garbage. Worth about $10.

Got this to use with my grandson while he is here to introduce him into the world of the small and something that will last him a long time and grow with him. Very well built and has tons of features that we are still learning how to use. The phone attachment works well and makes it much easier for me since I wear glasses. It came very well packed and it fairly easy to use. This will keep us busy for a long time trying to figure out everything. Very satisfied.

I gave this as a gift to my daughter's STEM Lab class and they love it! They're able to teach the kids more effectively and with more information. I've been told it's a great product, very sturdy and the magnification is very strong.
