I'm giving it a 5 star review with no prior microscopy exp.. despite being completely satisfied with the camera and phone attachment. My phone weighs down the fitting and I in turn have to hold my phone up to actually not have half of the view blocked, and the image produced by the camera they provided is grainy at best... *So far. Overall it's been fun..and that's real footage of my own blood.. other notes... An issue that I'm not to comfortable elaborating on.. is stressing the importance to Learn about microscopy before use.... ~it can be dangerous~ secondly... I came across information on utilizing the oil lense... Luckily before I tried.... Do not get oil on your other lenses ~"you will ruin them as they are not designed to be used with it"~

This microscope from Kentfaith is a decent quality for a high school level student. This is not a high-end microscope but sufficient for beginners. The optics quality is average, and the construction of the overall product is reasonably good. The optics definitely start to show their inferior quality as you go up in magnification. As long as you keep the entry level price in mind when considering the overall quality and value, you should not be disappointed. This obviously is not going to compete with models in the $1000+ price range and it should not be expected to either.

It is a great microscope for teenagers who are into biology. The microscope is light consider with what I had in the past. The set comes many accessories. It also comes with 10 prepared slides and 5 blank ones. The adult trinocular microscope offers impressive 40x-5000x magnification. The biggest advantage for this trinocular is that I can link to see it on the computer or mobile. It helps me to see the images more clearly. The images are clear than the $50 microscope.

Wow, this thing is amazing. It's really gotten me back into using a microscope after many years. I never imaged this level of quality magnification at this price level. I've done several fun projects with my young niece and absolutely love the amazement on her face seeing microscopic life. High quality piece of equipment, highly recommended.

It's amazing! It's honestly worth the money. The quality is great and everything worked perfectly. It came with all of the pieces. My kids loved it. We were able to look at the stars. I recommend it!
