Oh my stars this microscope is so awesome i got it for my son for his birthday and we LOVE it!!!! We put just about anything we can think of on slides to look at blood is really cool and even better a mosquito smacked and put directly on a slide was amazing but if its not all the way flat its hard to focus but putting the slide under a stack of books for an hour fixed that :)

Perfect first scope for a 8-10 year old. Kid I gave it to had it up and was using it inside of 10 minutes with minimum adult help - and I caught him making his own slides that after noon. One thing - this scope does not come with what is needed to make slides, or with reasonable set of sample slides. So order some up with the scope if you want to be able to use it right out of the box.

Purchased this for daughter, as birthday gift. She loves this... “just like the ones at the lab in summer STEM Camp!" Mom, Dad and brother are excited using this, too. When you change the lenses, to zoom in or out, the focus matches!!! So Much better than the one I had growing up. Recommended! Kentfaith has a full series of microscopes at several price points... a great product for a great price!

I bought this for my son who has developed an interest in biology and he loves it. The rest of the reviews here cover the scope pretty well. I‘m leaving this one to say that we had an issue with the eyepieces so we contacted Kentfaith directly. They promptly resolved the issue without any hassle. This alone was enough to prompt me to write this review. Good customer service adds greatly to the value of this microscope.

I did a lot of shopping around and the first one I purchased was made of plastic, it was like a toy, I had to return it. I found this and decided to go with it. I’m glad I did, this is a great microscope especially for the price. We are homeschooling and we wanted something that’s not too expensive but also of great quality. And their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend this microscope.

I love this product. Its excellent for beginners. The only thing I miss in this microscope would be a top light. Aside from that, its an amazing product.

I bought this to check fecal samples for worm eggs in my animals, to assess wool fiber quality, and to identify bacteria and fungus in cultures. The scope is very solid, all metal, with an adjustable light, no play in the focus adjustment, and sharp optics. I‘m amazed at the quality for the price. I chose this over the slightly cheaper My First Lab Duo-Scope, which features a second top light source to serve as a dissecting scope. Although that scope is also highly rated, this one includes a 25x eyepiece to allow higher magnification.

I bought this for my 8yr old daughter and she loves it. It’s light weight you can use a battery or plug it in. This thing ends up all over the house during her adventures, but it also a great product that the rest of the adult spent plenty of time checking out as well. I pull it out every once in a while too;)
