My daughter loves this microscope, her only complaint is that the lens sometimes gets blurry no matter what adjustments you make or how often you clean it. Overall, this is great first microscope.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, who is almost 8 and very interested in science. She loves it! We all do. The construction is solid and good quality, especially for the price. It doesn‘t feel at all like a toy model.
The scope has enough adjustments, between two eyepieces, lighting and magnifications, to view nearly anything at several levels. For example, we were able to view prepared slides at both a cellular level and zoomed out for a simpler closeup view. My son “donated" a drop of blood, and we were able to watch the cells move around on the slides.
The scope comes with a dust cover, two eyepieces, and a power cord. It doesn't come with prepared or blank slides, but we found both at decent prices on Amazon. We're very pleased with the scope. For what it's worth, I ordered through the Amazon warehouse for a significant discount. The packaging was dented and not pretty, but the scope was intact and in excellent condition.

Purchased for my son age 13. Very easy to use, and its just like the one he uses in school. Purchased many different slides and you can see them very well. All objective lenses work great. The only thing that would make it better is if it had two ocular lens‘ holding one eye shut gets tedious after awhile. Don't hesitate, go a ahead and purchase this. You wont be disappointed.

Perfect for all ages. Small but so powerful!!!!! The lens are powerful and the focus is amazing. Everything I have put on a slide I have seen in perfect clarity with this microscope. My only annoyance for lack of better words is that the 25x is not full view, its hard to explain but it works perfectly and I wouldn’t change a thing about this microscope. Maybe make it a binocular but it’s perfect and you won’t regret this purchase at all! The pictures I included are vaginal epithelial cells stained with blue methylene for visibility, very clear image!!! The video is live view I took with my phone.

I am not a lab geek, so definitely not an expert. The unit is as advertised and nicely made. I wish holder plate had a device that allowed movement, but not a big problem.

This microscope was exactly what I needed. Using it to check cell types on birds to see if they have bacteria infections.

I purchased another microscope off Amazon and it was missing the fine adjustment knob that this one has which was more expensive. Needless to say, this one was cheaper and I can tell it Is better quality than the other one. I had to use this for a lab for school and it did what I needed it to do. Great for a college student or a beginner; it may even be good for professional use!

I bought this for my kids for Christmas. My middle daughter has a huge interest in science and I was trying to find something that wasn‘t a toy to get left on the floor. This seemed like the perfect choice. And it was, for us parents! We bought a set of slides for things to look at and a box of blank slides in case we wanted to check something out. My husband and I end up getting this out about once a week to look at something new. The kids occasionally join in on the fun, but struggle a bit to get it to focus. I'm glad we made the purchase and I hope it gets as much use for years to come.
