True story: I order a lot of lens caps because I lose them constantly. I've tried the little sticky straps and I lose them too. I have high hopes for this clever system. The UV filter, which seems like a solid filter, allows the magnetic lens cap to attach securely to the filter with a pleasing and reassuring SNAP. It isn't hard to remove the magnetic lens cap, but it does take some effort, which should keep the lens cap in place. I'm looking forward to taking this out on my next shoot.

Fast delivery as usual! The UV filter makes a high-quality impression and there is absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of image quality, even if you only use the filter to protect the lens. The highlight, however, is the lens cap, which can be attached and removed in no time. The strength of the magnets is more than sufficient; you can be sure that you won't lose the cap. But that also brings with it the first small problem (which other manufacturers have too), because without 2cm long fingernails you can't pull the cap off when the lens hood is attached. This could be quickly remedied with knurling that runs horizontally or diagonally. But it can also be done in the workshop without a lathe. Simply drill two 3mm holes and use 5cm of parachute cord and the cap now has a handle. I use this version for all three magnetic lens caps... it feels good and doesn't get in the way at all. Without a lens hood it works without any problems, of course!

K&F has been quietly making some great products these days. I already have their variable ND and CPL filter which are amazing in their own rights. However, this takes the filter to the next level. If you are like me, I am constantly loosing the cover as I remove it for photography and then I forget to put it on. However, with a magnetic cover, putting it on makes it so much easier. This in turn protect the lens against the elements. The UV filter by itself fits perfectly and appears to be of good quality. I will be putting it up for a spin soon to test it compressively but from what I have seen, it's of high quality. I am quite happy with this package and highly recommend it.

Love the way these look aestheically pleasing on the end of the lens and the way the orange ring compliments the orange ring on my camera. Bought this mainly to see what the magnetic system would do and very impressed with the sturdiness and ease at which the lens cap can be applied and removed. I would, however, say that it is best to remove the lens cap before putting on a hood. The only way to remove it with a hood on is to have a suction cap to hand. The filter appears to be of very good quality, but I rarely use anything but CPL and ND ones. This will definitely have me invest in the magnetic verions of those too now.

love this brand and the magnetic functionality. For me, it’s much easier to retain my lens covers this way and I’m less likely to misplace them. Feel stronger than the OEM brands.

This little guy works for my lens and protects it nicely. The magnet keeps the cover on firmly when stored and I have not noticed any major negative effects to my photos. Overall a great value for a decent little filter and lens cover.

just pop it off and stick the lens cover in my pocket. haven't lost one yet. K&F doest the best, least expensive magnetic lens caps and filters
