Nothing bad to say, magnetic filters are always easier, but this particular ND gets the job done in all other aspects. These ND filters are truly colourfast, you won't be disappointed.

No X-pattern, virtually no color cast, and a 1-5 stop range (vs. the more common 2-5) make the Kentfaith True Color ND Vario the best variable ND on the market for most situations. Technically, a little extra warmth can be noticed in head-to-head comparisons, but it's almost impossible to tell otherwise and close enough to be matched in post with no ill effects on compressed photos or video.

I wish the IR filtering was implemented in True Color, but perhaps the technology used here doesn't allow for that. Because IR is not filtered, certain lighting conditions can be undesirable or even unusable, especially when more visible light is cut off. Assuming (possibly erroneously) that one flaw is a necessary compromise for the True Color's unmatched color accuracy, I feel the True Color ND-Vario is as perfect as a VND can get, and first VND that doesn't feel like a compromise between accuracy and practicality.

I tested the K&F Concept ND filter, comparing it to the one I usually use. My current one leaned more toward a blue tint with the K&F Concept ND looking slightly greener. However, the green tint was a little more realistic to the weather conditions that day. The K&F Concept ND filter did make photos a touch softer than my current ND filter.

The ability to switch between stops using the same ND filter is incredibly convenient, and I had no problems using it while shooting in non-ideal conditions.

The filter doesn't exactly move smoothly. If it were, it would be difficult to set and ideally maintain the desired filter effect. So: there is always something.

Shooting outdoors can be challenging depending on how bright the sun is and it can change from second to second.

I love this variable ND filter because I don’t have to physically swap the filter out to increase or decrease the effect.

No issues with this in bright sunlight, works like a charm, and because all you need to do is rotate it you can see instantly the effect it has.

It’s a nice aluminium construction, I’ve had no issues gettting it off my Sony lenses, this seems to be a common problem some people face, just don’t tighten these things up like the hulk!

It’s not cheap and I mulled over whether to drop a star for it, but when I consider the combination I connect it to is well over 4k, it’s a drop in the ocean.

Comes with a nice little case and there’s no X that appears to be a common thing with variable ND.

I have bought another one for my smaller lenses rather than use an adaptor with this one, so I clearly am happy with the product.

Se me ocurrio medir el diametro de la rosca exterior del ND y me daa una medida aproximada de 52 mm por lo que compre una tapar estandar de 52mm y resulta que funciona perfectamente en el filtro de 49 mm
