The effect that this filter has can best be described with the words: cinematic, or movie look. Stronger light sources become wonderfully soft, like through a diffuser. However, the sharpness does not suffer noticeably. Not only for vodeographers really beautiful. It gives my photos a dreamy and classic look.

Similar to the expensive per-crap filters, this gives videos and photos a more cinematic sheen as it adds a slight haze to the image. The filter gives the lights a mist-like effect without compromising sharpness and also smoothes skin tones. Overall, nice filter that fits and protects the camera and is best to have than using a cheap UV filter. The glass does not adhere to oil or fingerprints, so you don't have to wipe it off all the time.

I am generally satisfied with this filter from K&F, it makes it possible to filter light sources at night and create a pleasant atmosphere during the day. I use it with Xpro-1, which is combined with the movie playback of a digital camera.

The 1/4 strength ensures a nice subtle scattering of your footage. It helps to highlight your shadows slightly while maintaining a little contrast, and adds a subtle bloom to the highlights. I would place this right there with the Tiffen Black Pro Mist filter.
