For ND filters (without gradient) the concept seems very conclusive to me. Incidentally, the additional ring can also be used to attach another lens to the magnetic connection. The magnetic force seems strong enough to me, it's actually not that easy to remove the filter without shaking the camera. You definitely don't have to be afraid that the filter will fall off at the most inopportune moment. The image quality does not suffer visibly from the filter, as far as I was able to judge tonight. Because dusk was already setting in, I was only able to achieve the same brightness relatively soon with an increased ISO (no tripod with me...), which of course led to losses, but these have nothing to do with the glass as such. the first pictures, that could still be shot with different exposure times did not show any significant losses even in the 100% view. However, there is a slight discoloration of the image, which turns purple with the filter. (Supplement a day later: in daylight and light snow, the picture with the filter was harmoniously balanced overall (trick: no strong contrasts...) and therefore significantly "warmer" than without the filter)

Yesterday I got the filter and today I took the camera, the filter, and tested it. My first contact with the ND 1000 filter was satisfactory. The number of light reduction step is exact 10 In short, considering the price you have, I give you a high pass and I think the purchase is good and would repeat. One of the things I was worried about was having issues with focus, framing, or light metering. I had no problems and all photos were taken automatically and even adjusted a little with the focus manually. Focusing isn't as precise as light is missing, the image has less contrast, and a bit more manual focusing is required. When the sun is hidden, the focus does is no longer possible even if there is clarity. I am attaching photos, just note the photos I took with my Olympus OM in auto, both exposure and focus. The last two photos are the same without and with filter, you can see that with filter there is a 10 step decrease in exposure (from EV-14 to EV-4) - I added some photos taken the next day , I took advantage of this in the sun

I am very satisfied with the ND1000 filter. There was no color shift, no vignetting. I went out yesterday to test the filter. The most convenient thing about the filter is the magnet system. After focusing the composition without the filter attached, it was very easy to attach the Nd filter with a snap of magnetic force! I'm happy to show you my very first long exposure photos. Right around sunset time I was able to take a 3min 30sec photo with f16.

The magnetic adapter ring is a plus. You can even stack it with the ND filter. The case is also very durable and should be great for protecting my filter when tucked into my camera bag.
Overall I am very impressed with this filter. It's so satisfying how the filter snaps into place. This filter will definitely be a staple in my everyday camera accessories and I would recommend this to any amateur or professional photographer/videographer.

It takes quite a bit to get excited about ND filters. These things are pretty critical for me to be able to draw my shutters - but it's been pretty much the same over and over again - just with less color cast or thinner frames. However, the magnetic ones are a major change to my slow shutter workflow. I tend to work in very narrow apertures and often times and that is with the UV and ND filters mounted. I can't recommend these enough — especially at the price.

I've wanted to try these K&F Concept magnetic filters since they were announced,
I'm glad I bought these, they're great,
Super easy to use and change when in the field,
just attach the magnetic ring to your lens and then have to You just snap on and swap out the filters,
no hassle of screwing and unscrewing the filters, this is a total game changer in my opinion, I own quite a bit of K&F gear and as always these are great quality.
I have the k&f square filter kits but these are much simpler,
the case that comes with it is very nice too!

Hello, Having fallen in love with the ND1000 effect on landscape photos, I decided to buy one. reminder: take a photo with an aperture priority (AV mode) and a certain diaphragm opening and recover the opening time (on my photo: 1/4 of a second = 250ms). Put the lens in manual focus and place the ND1000 filter avoiding changing the focus. Multiply the previous opening time by 1000. In my example 0.250s x1000 = 250s (4min10) Put the reflex in manual exposure mode then in BULB mode in order to remote control the opening time. (in my case, I use my smartphone which has an infrared port). We note after 4m10s that the photo (with filter) is identical in color and luminosity to that taken in 1/4 of a second without filter. This filter is therefore well calibrated. Important: the use of a tripod is strongly recommended to avoid any blurring of movement. In conclusion, I recommend this product and I can't wait to be able to take pictures of landscapes with this filter. Have a good day.

Exceptional quality of this 82mm and 1000 filter. Excellent material finish, perfect fit in the thread and exceptional results. Image taken at 7am. Comparison between shooting without filter and shooting with filter. I used a time of 15 seconds to achieve the water silk effect”. ideal for photos at the sea and streams for the so-called "silk effect" This is a neutral density filter with really important construction characteristics. Advantages: Quality of the glass; 82 mm perfect graft; Excellent performance;

WOW WOW WOW. That's an incredible idea. I'm really surprised I've never come across this concept before or that no big companies do.
First let me say that a week ago I went on a trip to Mammoth Lakes and did a lot of long exposures, so I had to screw on my ND filter and then take it off to take another shot in the same spot, it can be very annoying .
The filter was well packaged in a nice little bag. It doesn't come off easily, you can definitely shake your camera as hard as you can and it won't come off.
All in all this is an amazing idea and I've been looking for light pollution filters for the amazing Milky Way shots I'm taking, unfortunately I can't get these before the 21st of this month. As soon as I do that, I'll upload photos here

For filming with DSLR. I find the processing good. No "X" pattern, I'm satisfied.
Very comfortable with the magnetic mechanism. The screws got stuck in my lenses several times. With the magnetic ring, they are quick to change and use. The 82mm are compatible with the Kase system, which offers a wider range of filters but at a higher price. I now have a mix of the two brands and I feel good. For quality money, the K&F filters are in a great place. I highly recommend them
