A good tripod head, small but still sturdy. Purchased to hang my Sony ZV-E10 upside down and shoot from above, it does not do its job well, keeping the camera in place without any problems. Price aligned to the quality of the product, recommended.

I bought this ball joint to replace the original KF-TM2515T tripod which is made of plastic.

This KF-28 ball joint is much more stable than a plastic.

It is fluid in rotation and the blockages are strong.

The ball joint locking lever is adjustable in any position (see video).

I recommend this KF-28 with eyes closed!

It's really easy to use and adjust. Very robust and it perfectly holds my Nikon D810 with a heavy telephoto lens. I'm glad to find this and the tripod/monopod.

Beware of the clamping lever that in some positions, due to its generous size, touches on the plate above. (A pity this design error!!).

Use it for two years now and am very satisfied. That it brings a certain dead weight, is clear.
But can be made quite small and stowed well in the bag. Needed a stable tripod for my Sony G-Master lens. That alone weighs 1.5kg and my old tripod literally went belly up. I love the ball head. It gives you flexibility and speed. Never again anything else!
Clear purchase recommendation!

It's a good, solid tripod head! It replaced the head of my Opus OT-1018BH tripod! The extra screw adapter allowed it to fit the tripod perfectly!

Ball head turns smoothly and locks in place. Holds the camera steady. Had three differnt heads on tripods. Ordered two of these to allow quick change from one system to the next.

I did not encounter the problem found in the other reviews, as the person who recommended them told me to make the stand go loose by unscrewing the knob.
Doing so overcomes the "defect" of low sensitivity of maneuvering.

The real problem is that it is really too bulky to carry around. But this is already known before buying it.

Do not use this gimbal head on a tripod but on a table. (photo booth). Is sturdy and hinges well. On this table I don't notice any difference with my 3 times more expensive Benro head.

I'm using this ball head for a rifle mount, for coyote hunting. The all metal construction makes it sturdy and durable. The thumb locks for swiveling function very smoothly and holds everything in place, when locked. I mounted this ball head on a Bogpod Deathgrip tripod and it holds a 14# rifle with no issues.
