IR (NV NODS)
Really nice picture quality. I barely used the 8K video quality, because it drains the battery very quickly. Batteries take a very long time to charge, so having an extra does help but they just drain so fast that it didn‘t work for my needs.
I bought this purely for the IR feature to record NV (NODS) footage. Indoors, it works pretty darn good and even better with an IR flood illum. Outdoors, less so but still capable if you're recording less than a few feet away. Overall, it's a really nice camera and can easily help you record IR NV content (ie, photos). Just limit your expectations with video and battery life.
