Solid 6-point starburst filter with precise adjustment
I deliberately bought the 82mm version of the K&F CONCEPT Starburst filter (6 points). This size offers maximum flexibility to adapt the filter to various lenses in my system using step-up rings.
Processing & box contents: The filter is delivered in a robust plastic box, which serves as an adequate storage solution. In my case, three individually packaged cleaning cloths were also included, a useful accessory. The filter thread is neatly finished and can be easily screwed onto the lens.
Functionality in practice: The decisive feature of this filter is the ability to rotate the stars. In this model, the adjustment mechanism runs very cleanly and smoothly. The rotary resistance is well calibrated, it is smooth enough for quick adjustment, but firm enough to reliably hold the selected position. This enables precise alignment of the 6-point stars, which is essential for targeted image composition.
Areas of application: As expected, the filter is ideal for night photography. Especially at Christmas time at Christmas markets, he can set off the many fairy lights and lights in an atmospheric way.
