First, I have another articulating borescope by Acekool, which has a longer cable, larger screen, and is half as expensive. It's only 2-direction, it only looks left and right, it doesnt have the 360 joystick. But before making a decision, you may want to evaluate your needs and do a little research.

Second, while overall I love this tool, the only thing that frustrates me is the cable length. You cannot trade this out for a longer cable, you're stuck with the 3.3 feet.

Despite those two comments, this is a fantastic borescope. It's easy to operate, seems well built. The picture is color, HD, good resolution. You can move your images/videos to a PC if needed, but the screen is pretty clear and playback is easy. For me, I will rarely have to move photos/videos to the PC. It comes with a micro SD preinstalled, which is great.

You may want to keep the manual handy until you get used to it, some of the features require long pressing buttons and things like that. It's all fairly intuitive, just takes some time to memorize.

The joystick is controlled by internal cables, similar to bicycle brake lines. It's not motorized, so you can control the camera with the joystick even when the power is off. That also means these internal cables will stretch out and wear out eventually, though this should last for quite a while before you have to worry about this.
