The housing is well-made and sturdy. The device is easy to adjust using the four control buttons below the monitor. On the left side, there is a USB PC port for charging the built-in battery or for connecting to a PC (the microscope can be used like a camera and transmits control images to the PC). Images can also be saved to the integrated SD card. The images are upscaled and saved at 7680 × 4320 pixels. The built-in illumination can be adjusted using the buttons. The magnification and focus can be adjusted using the zoom wheel. The first level sets a low magnification. Turning the wheel further takes you to the second level. The magnification can also be changed by changing the distance between the lens and the object. The included samples on the slides have limited use. Ultimately, the microscope is most fun to use outdoors. It's a small yet powerful digital microscope. It's very suitable for children. It's also well-suited for hobbies (e.g., electronics).
