Ignore all instructions about Wifi connection and do it manually.
This works fantastically once it's setup. To connect to wifi, ignore the app and all instructions in the box. Do this:
Join the wifi provided by the weather station, just go to wifi settings and select it. No password.

Load a browser. It won't load the page, duh.

Type in this address: 192.168.5.1, press enter.

Manually fill in your info in the provided boxes. Press the save button. All done. You're welcome.
Ignore all instructions about Wifi connection and do it manually.
