Features
- * 【16.6-Stop Light Reduction】K&F Concept ND100000 Solar Filter is a 16.6-stop light reduction neutral density filter, mostly used for solar photography and long exposures. With accurate light reduction, the filter will help guarantee color fidelity and sharp results and capture details of the sun.
- * 【18-Layer Nano Coating】This ND100000 solid neutral density filter is made from high quality optical glass with 18-layer of nano coating, which helps reduce filter surface reflection and the ghosting effectively while making the filter anti-scratch, water repellent, oil and dust resistant.
- * 【Lightweight & Ultra Slim Frame】The ND100002 filter features a lightweight & ultra slim frame, which helps prevent vignetting. The frame is made of alumium alloy which ensures the filter's long service life.
- * 【Knurled Filter Ring for Secure Grip】The filter ring of the ND100000 filter has a knurled texture for a secure grip when mounting or removing it from a lens.
- * 【Wide Compability】This ND100000 solar filter 55mm is compatible with all lenses with 55mm front thread. Check your lens front thread size before purchase. The size number is always preceded by a "Ø" (diameter) symbol, usually marked somewhere on the lens barrel printed underneath the lens cap.

Impressed eclipse ND filter
The 67mm 100K offers great performance for the price. The solid materials feels premium and the image quality is decent offering no x patter or green cast.

Works as intended, but I don’t trust it
Took some quick photos of the sun less than 30 secs total during clear mid day on Sony 200-600mm with 2x teleconverter at 1200mm. No damage to sensor, I’ll get one with a proper UV/solar filter infused glass instead to take decent photos to stack. This filter should work safely for 1 hour after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.

Want to capture the sun? This works wonders.
This is awesome for the Nikon p1000 in which Nikon is now discontinuing it because it is too powerful. I got a used camera before the prices got jacked up and couldn't be more happier. You can even see sunspots.

Worked perfectly for the eclipse!
I'm just a new photography "enthusiast", but this thing worked wonders for the eclipse. At 16+ stops, I honestly don't know what else you would use it for, but this thing works great.

Works well. No internal reflections and performed great during eclipse!
Screws smoothly on and off which was very helpful when totality came and I was able to take the filter off quickly on my Sony FE 24-240 lens with a 72mm front element. The eclipse shot was taken at f/6.3, 1/2000 sec, ISO 100. It also worked well when taking everyday photos of the sun and seeing sunspots. It actually works with standard photos although a normal daytime shot needs 10,000 times the exposure of an unfiltered shot. The second photo was taken with f5.6, 6 seconds, ISO 3200.

Great Filter
Great filter for my canon 70-200mm - did the research on which filter would work for my lens and i felt that this would be the right price and quality for the partial eclipse in Hawaii on April 8, 2024. There is another partial eclipse in Hawaii on October 2, 2024...so I can use this again then and also when iʻm doing sunrise timelapses.

Works great!
I took this picture of the solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024 with this filter! It works as expected!
The sensor is totally fine!
PS. Looks like I overexposed the eclipse. I attach another photo of the sun, the exposure is shorter and you can even see the spots on the Sun!

All set for the solar eclipse
K&F Concept 95mm ND100000 Fixed Neutral Density Filter provides 16.6 stop light reduction. That's the suitable level of light reduction for a super telephoto to photograph the blinding sun. I used live view on the tilting camera LED screen to view the sun versus peering into the viewfinder. As the light level was safe, I viewed through the viewfinder with some dark polarized sun glasses on to further protect my eyes.
Initially I set my Nikon D850 camera to aperature priority which worked fine and now I'm shooting in manual mode for full control. My Nikor 200-500mm lens and 1.4 teleconverter gets up to 700mm at f6.3 max aperature. With full zoom, I get a good exposure @ ISO 64, 1/250second & f/11 aperature w/ -1 stop under exposure to avoid exposure wash out.
Light balance is on auto and I get a very white/grayscale image. Changing white balance to daylight renders a yellowish tint. But with the sun, daylight is pretty white and likely in post processing I can change the white balance. I'm hopeful that for the upcoming solar eclipse, I don't have to make too many other major adjustments so I can take a series of interval shots to capture the eclipse cycle.
This lens filter is a uni-tasker. Other than using this specialty filter for looking at the sun, there may not be other common uses for this at 16 stop ND filter. So for the price, this is one of the great value for for safe sun photography.
