This is a very nice tripod, especially for travel. It is lightweight and folds down compactly, making it easy to pack and carry on trips. The aluminum construction keeps it sturdy while still being portable.

The ball head is well designed and reasonably solid. It comes with an Arca-style quick-release base and plate, which is a great bonus and makes mounting cameras fast and convenient. The base also pans 360 degrees smoothly, which is very useful for panoramic shots and precise positioning.

The center column can be elevated using a dedicated knob, and the hook at the bottom is a thoughtful addition for attaching a sandbag or extra weight to improve stability when needed. This is especially helpful in outdoor conditions.

It also includes a tablet holder, which appears to be well built. I haven’t used it personally, but it’s a nice extra accessory to have available.

Overall, this is a very capable and well-designed tripod. While there are more premium options available, for the price this one delivers excellent value and is easily deserving of a 5-star rating.

The K&F CONCEPT 73" Aluminum Compact Camera Tripod boasts a well thought out design that is crafted from quality lightweight materials - shaving pounds from the weight of your camera gear.

The locking ball head is aluminum and the composite ball head socket material grips tightly and don't flex under pressure. The leg segments slide smoothly, and the composite leg locks rotate freely and lock down securely. Fully extended the legs and center post raise the tripod to a respectable 73" height. To keep things secure at this height there's an easy to use hook on the bottom of the center column, to attach ballast like a loaded fanny pack or cross body bag to add weight for stability. Removing that hook allows for the center column to be reversed which allows for unique angles and can get the camera closer to the ground. The tripod is assembled with stainless steel hex bolts, so there are no rough bolt ends or raw metal edges exposed in the construction to scratch any expensive items or gear that are packed alongside the tripod.

Overall, the product cost to product quality ratio is good. You could spend more for a tripod, but if you're looking to purchase a well made, lightweight tripod that will perform in most travel scenarios, this is a solid candidate.

Great tripod. Bought to record daughters volleyball games and it took some hits this weekend by some stray volleyballs and stood up well. Seems well made and love the adjustability

I make YouTube videos as a hobby and got this K+F Concept 73 inch aluminum camera tripod as a second tripod for multi camera shots (mostly static “talking head” shots), but after using it I ended up making it my main tripod for my mirrorless camera because it feels clearly better than my cheaper K+F “basics” tripod that is half the cost of this. This tripod is heavier and more solid while still being easy to move around. The pros are that it is super easy to set up and break down, the center column makes height changes quick without moving the legs, the ball head is smooth and convenient, the Arca style clamp works with many plates, it supports up to 22 lbs, so it fits the teleprompter great, it packs small, and works with cameras and phones. For my specific use, I have no cons to it. I imagine you may have a different opinion if you needed it for other tasks. The construction is aluminum with a solid and durable feel, a 40 mm ball head with smooth movement, a center column that can be reversed for low shots like unboxing, a hook for extra weight, decent overall fit and finish, and parts that feel reliable for regular use. Overall, this tripod offers good value for the price, performs well for video and photography, and I would recommend it if you want a simple, portable, and capable tripod for hobby filming.

This takes me back to old Slik tripods whose legs did not have cross-braces. While not the most stable tripods that exist, they are exceptionally easy to set up and break down without pinching your fingers in a folding mechanism.

The K&F version improves on it in a couple of ways:
- The Arca clamp is useful and compatible with tons of plates
- The real ball head is more fun than a video-style handle

The one design choice I do not like is common to a lot of K&F tripods, and it is the self-leveling feet. You really need spikes for outdoors, and the self-leveling nature of feet is kind of pointless with a tripod, since three legs form a perfect plane on any surface. Rounded feet would have sufficed here.

All in all, it's a solid value.

Title:
"K&F CONCEPT 63/162cm Travel Compact Tripod"

Current Price:
The price is £52.99, which is very competitive for a travel tripod that includes a proper ball head.

Review:
This tripod is impressively compact when folded down and fits easily into a standard backpack. The hexagonal center column is a SMART design choice as it makes the whole unit feel much slimmer than traditional round models. It feels stable enough for a mirrorless setup, though I wouldn't fully trust it in very high winds without hanging a bag from the hook. The ball head moves smoothly and the Arca-Swiss compatibility is a massive plus for quick swaps.

I got this for 65 dollars with a 10 dollar coupon. It is absolutely worth it if you are looking for a compact, easy to deploy, sturdy, lightweight tripod. The carbon fibre versions weigh 0.1 lbs less, so unless you are an insect other than an ant, it won't be a problem. You can screw any head onto it, but the included one is more than adequate. It can do so many positions it made my gf jealous. Also, if you are confused because this company makes seven million versions of the same tripod so was I. This one works for a 22 pounds dslr but also comes with a phone mount which is flimsier than Marie Antoinette's security team. Anyway, get this tripod and stop spending hours comparing models.

I’m a semi pro photographer and previously used a carbon fiber tripod which was super light but didn’t provide the strength and stability that an aluminium tripod does. But of course these aluminium ones are heavy. That however is the only downside to this. Everything else is a positive.
Firstly it really looks the part and very stylish. Doesn’t look cheap at all. It is sturdy and well made. The ball head is fantastic and provides you with lots of options in terms of movement. The centre column comes out and can be reversed in order to get those low down shots. Has a hook also for hanging your bag on for even greater stability. Rubber feet are easily screwed on and the legs can be opened quickly with the catches. Honestly this is a superb tripod and I recommend it to everyone from novices to professionals.
