Easy to focus and great clarity. Mounts on tripod firmly and holds position well. I use to spot for my target shooting and have used up to 200 yards to see where my rounds are hitting on the target. Sure it would work well for greater distances just haven’t had the opportunity to try.

Very clear at all magnifications, I have used it to look at the moon as well as on the range.
