I am impressed with the quality and ease of use of this microscope. Some samples are included, and it is easy to learn using the microscope. The quality of the monitor is excellent. It has a case to keep it clean and handy. No assembly is needed. Use the USB cable and connect it to power using the included adapter. The manual and instructions are great.

There are a lot of cool features and clever designs packed into this microscope. Each of the example slides that came with it do a good job of getting you to ask questions, and do a great job of highlighting the types of analysis microscopes like this can excel at.

I've not used a microscope since I was a kid, so I'm admittedly not in a position to review this on a professional level, but if you want the opinion of a total newbie who's just diving in and seeing what it can do, I've been really impressed by it! It's an absolute breeze to set up and use, basically no setup needed at all actually, and the controls are really clear and easy to understand.

Camera and screen quality are both excellent and are a huge improvement over the more traditional method of looking through the lens instead, giving you an easier way of viewing. It's also clearly much better for group viewing, especially with the HDMI connection allowing you to connect to an even bigger screen (obviously perfect for classroom use). If preferred, you can also connect it to your phone wirelessly and use their app instead.

There's two lights built into it which are great for different situations, one on top shining down on the sample, and another shining upwards from the bottom which is better suited for transparent/translucent samples. Although I'm no microscope expert, the 1200x magnification seems like more than enough for most uses outside of professional settings, almost definitely enough for the suggested classroom usage at least!

I really can't see any clear flaws with this microscope, if you're looking for something more convenient than a traditional microscope with plenty of digital functionality, this is absolutely a great choice to go with!

The quality of this video microscope is very nice. i especially like the two type of lighting, above and below. i use it with microscope slides and also can view whole bugs and such. would recommend to all.

This compact microscope is solidly built and very easy to use and provides excellent images of specimens even at fairly high magnifications. The digital screen is more comfortable for viewing than typical microscope eyepieces. Under the stage is a rotating wheel with holes that allow you to adjust the beam diameter to improve the clarity of the image. It works well both with the bottom light used to examine sections and other thin specimens, and with the top light, which allows it to be used like a dissecting/surgical microscope to examine thicker specimens. Photography is fast and easy, and I can transfer the images to my computer rapidly.

Comes with sample slides that you can use to view already. Its so much easier to see something without having to use a scope to view it. This big screen really helps see things more clearly. You'll need to purchase blank/empty slides to create your own samples to look at. It can be with a rechargeable battery. If you're viewing living organisms, you can do video recordings for their movement too. Comes with an SD card for the video and picture files that you can transfer to a computer. Conveniently comes in a storage carrying case for safe keeping and portability.

Bought this for our grand daughter - regular binocular microscope was to hard for her to easily see down. Screen seems pretty bright and nice to have ability to save images.

Would liked to have seen a fine focus control based on cost

The digital microscope has a 7 inch adjustable screen i don't need eyepieces to view. The screen is very bright and clear, it also comes with a few sample slides plus a SD card for videos. This is a really good quality learning microscope it's easy to use and it comes already assembled.
