46mm Variable ND2-32 (1-5 Stops) & Circular Polarizing Filter CPL & Black Mist 1/4 3 in 1 HD Lens Filter with 28 Multi-Coated for Camera Lenses Nano-Xcel Series

Honestly, I'm not sure if this is better than stacking 3 filters together. I'm still trying to figure out the best case to use it, but keep in mind if you put this on. You're going to have a black diffusion effect on everything you shoot, versus if you were to just use a polarizer or an n d separately

I find this to be an excellent outdoor filter. The combination of CP and variable ND filters covers a lot of bases for outdoor photography on sunny days. Even shooting sunlight through tree branches was achievable without bleaching out the whole image. Adjustment of ND filter and CP filter is conveniently done with the twist knob. Fiddling to get the perfect shot takes a few seconds, so this would be difficult to use for outdoor action shots. The black diffusion 1/4 adds just a touch of softness.
Keep in mind you won't be using most lens hoods with this filter, the knob precludes this. Also, normal lens caps won't attach and hold. But, since this filter is not a screw it on and forget it type, these are minor inconveniences.

Wow... An amazing filter for the price. I was very skeptical at first about having a 3-in-1 filter set but I couldn't be more happy with the results from a cinematic video point. The Variable ND, the CPL, and the Diffuser 1/4 pro mist make for a fantastic videographer set! It brings a beautiful cinematic look and feel to an outdoor shoot. It's super easy to mount and love it more than I thought I would. The handle on it makes for faster filter adjustments and it tightens to keep it from moving. The filter material itself is impressive. You can tell that this filter is made with quality in mind. A good value and price also! A must-have for any cinematic filmmaker for a quick outdoors filter set that is quality you can get from K&F these days. I would say this is more for video than photography. A good value!

As a photographer and videographer, I’m always juggling multiple filters like a magician with too many rabbits. But the K&F Concept 82mm Black Diffusion Mist Effect 1/4 & Variable ND2-32 & CPL Filter is the ultimate multitasker, combining three essential functions into one sleek piece of glass. It’s like having a Swiss Army knife for your lens—except way cooler and without the risk of stabbing yourself.
Dreamy Diffusion Meets Cinematic Control
First off, the black diffusion mist adds a soft, cinematic glow to highlights without turning your footage into a blurry mess. Perfect for smoothing out skin tones (goodbye, pores and fine lines!), while still keeping that natural, professional look. It’s like an Instagram filter but real life.
ND Power – Smooth Motion, No Overexposure
The variable ND (ND2-32) is a lifesaver for video work, allowing me to maintain the perfect shutter speed without blowing out highlights. Need silky-smooth waterfalls? Done. Want motion blur in broad daylight? Easy. And the best part? No ugly "X" pattern that plagues other variable ND filters—K&F really nailed this one.
CPL – Say Goodbye to Glare
The built-in Circular Polarizer (CPL) cuts through reflections like a ninja. Whether I’m shooting through car windows, over water, or trying to make a dull sky pop with deep blues, this filter does the job flawlessly. Colors are richer, contrast is boosted, and reflections vanish like magic.
Build Quality – Tough, Yet Elegant
With 28 multi-layer coatings, this thing repels water, oil, and dust better than my camera’s sensor (if only it had the same coatings). The self-locking rotating frame ensures precise adjustments, and the glass is top-notch AGC optical material—sharp as a tack, even at 82mm.
Final Verdict
This filter is an absolute game-changer. Instead of swapping filters mid-shoot, I now have ND, diffusion, and a CPL in one, saving time and space in my bag. If you’re a hybrid shooter who loves efficiency and top-tier image quality, this is a must-have.
Bravo, K&F Concept! Now, can you make one that also brews coffee? ☕

If you love experimenting with different photography styles, this all-in-one filter from K&F Concept is a must-have. It combines a black diffusion mist filter, a variable ND (ND2-32), and a CPL (circular polarizer) into a single, compact design.
The black diffusion mist adds a cinematic, soft glow to highlights and skin tones, perfect for dreamy portraits or film-like aesthetics. The variable ND is smooth to adjust, allowing for proper exposure control in bright conditions. The CPL effectively reduces reflections and enhances contrast, especially for landscape photography.
The build quality is top-notch with 28 multi-coatings that help minimize flares and maintain sharpness. It screws onto the lens smoothly without causing vignetting. If you want a space-saving, high-quality filter that offers multiple effects, this is a fantastic choice.

I do love K&F filters. This one is no exception. The build quality is amazing. The clarity is excellent. I love that it has hard stops. I’m using this on my 70-200, and I’m not getting the “X” effect. It stays clear through the entire range. The black-mist effect is subtle—noticeable but not overwhelming; it’s pleasant. If you’re looking for a filter combo that gives you all this without stacking them, this is it. It’s well worth the price.

This filter is a bit on the hefty side, but it is well worth the money. Once you learn how to operate it, you will appreciate the way it is designed. I say this because it through me for a loop at first. I am also someone who attempts to figure it out on my own before referring to the instructions (unless putting together furniture).
The key points to love about this item are:
- Great softening applied to your image with the Black Mist Effect
- ND Filter has hard stops (no "X" pattern)
- Circular Polarizer exhibits no visible color shifts
- Locking pin makes adjustments easy and doesn't come off when loosened
- Waterproof for shooting outdoors
Things NOT to love about this:
- A bit on the hefty side (CPL + ND glass will do that)
- Requires an 86mm cap instead of 82mm
As far as the cons go... the weight is to be expected since they are essentially stacking 3 adapters into 1. It's not super heavy, but it is noticeable that it's there. I also have the 82mm size which is on the heavy end anyways. The cap difference used to bother me, but it's necessary to avoid vignetting at wider focal lengths. I usually have a couple filters on me and keep the original size cap with those. No big deal!
Expanding on the positives... the twist lock bot mechanism really makes this easy to operate. You simply dial in your ND amount first, lock it down, and then use the peg to twist to your desired polarizing position. Magic! The Black Diffusion is always present, so you only need to worry about the other two. If you need to adjust the ND amount, then just be aware that it will change the polarization. You can use the peg as a marker to know where it needs to be as well as your camera screen for confirmation.
Overall, I can absolutely recommend this filter. The materials used are high quality and the images it produces are spectacular. You do have to pay some money, but it is well worth it. After trying enough bargain adapters, you learn to appreciate the good ones (no color shifts, smooth rotation, etc.). You also get a nice carry case with magnetic closure for when it's not on your lens as well as a microfiber cloth for cleaning. It's a winner for sure!

The presentation of the Nano-X series is very nice. It comes in a nice case (fake leather I think) with a magnetic closure and a pull strap to eject the filter from the case. It feels well built and looks nice.
This appears to be the same as the cheaper K-series, with a nicer case and more coatings on the glass. I'm not skilled enough to notice a big difference between them as far as photograph quality, and don't particularly want to test the oleophobic qualities, haha! If this magically resists fingerprints than it is worth the cost difference. If not, then it isn't worth the difference to me.
Things to be aware of:
You will not want to leave this on your lens. You cannot mount additional filters on the front of it (only the back). Lens cap does not stay attached to the front because the front lip isn't really the same size, and of course this filter does not come with it's own. The knob for adjustments will prevent you from using a lens hood, of course.
The polarizer and variable ND work together. Because of this, you need to set ND where you want it first, then the polarizer. The knob for adjustment screws down to lock the ND in place for polarizer adjustment, which is a nice touch and something I didn't realize at first!

I have used K&F's products over the years and always been happy with the quality, attention to detail and thoughtful design. I own at least 40 filters of all sorts of types and brands and use them very frequently.
To be completely honest, I'm a little on the fence about this 3 in 1 filter as a concept. My initial thought when I saw this filter available was to pass on it because I was doubtful that combining a Black Mist with a VND+CPL didn't make sense to me from a practical standpoint. My main issue with it is that I spend $119.99 and i'm forced to always use the Black Mist with the VND+CPL. I think most professional photographers will likely think similar thoughts as I did.
Next, I thought how I would currently get the effect that this combination filter goes for. That means I put on an ND or VND, a CPL and then a Black Mist. Not to sound stupid but, that's three filters and using 3+ filters at once very frequently can add vignetting on the edges of the frame because the height of the 3 filters combined ends up blocking a little edge light. That's when I thought, AHHHHHH, now I see what K&F was thinking. This particular combination of filters is one that I use frequently, anytime I shoot a waterfall, river, ocean waves breaking on the beach or most varieties of light painting this is a great combination. CPL to help with glare and reflections on water, VND to slow down the light so I can shoot with a longer shutter speed and black mists are a favorite of mine to soften up that moving water so I get a nice smoke or fog effect.
In conclusion.. It's $119.99, for one good filter that isn't bad at all. I personally have several VND's, CPL's and Black Mist filters that are single function so I don't need more of them, but to have one that does all three which is ideal for a type of photography I very much enjoy.. Yea.. I'm good with it.
If you want a very good quality filter that handles a lot of the heavy lifting involved in getting that awesome waterfall or beach waves shot, then I can confidently point you to this filter as a very easy, high quality way to get the shot.
