This shimmer diffusion filter gives photos a beautiful soft, glowing atmosphere. After affixing it to my lens, my images had a very romantic appeal that actually enhanced the overall appearance of the photos. The former consists of 18 multi-coated layers for bright and clear vision and the latter does not affect the image quality in any way. I prefer it for portraits, landscapes, and macro photography and most of the time the pictures have that magical, fantasy look. I love this filter so much, it lives now on one of my cameras with a Sigma 30mm 1.4, and in monochrome. It's just perfect, because while I love my M6ii...it's both too digitally sharp and too contrasty for my tastes. This one filter fixes both things at once, and now I love the images straight from camera. What an amazing experience it is to skip the editing part in the middle. Just click, then share. Love it.
