£60 at time of review I rarely hand out five stars... Great little matte box, nice and light weight, but feels good and strong, plus comes with an excellent storage case. Comes with 67, 72, 77, 82 & 95mm adapter rings, that simply screw onto the front of your lens, then to add the matte box, simply place it onto the ring, level and tighten the lever on the side. Filters are held in place by a filter frame, you simply slide them into place, as they drop into place and aren’t sitting in a groove the frame will accommodate 1.8mm & 2mm filters without rattling issues, the frame itself slides in from the left and clicks into pace, you can also stack filter frames. The top flag can also be locked into position and locked closed. A really neat feature, the adapter rings have the same size filter threads on their front face, allowing additional circular filters to be added directly to the front of the lens, also means when you move from place to place you can attach your lens cap too. As the filter itself sits about 5cm in front of the lens you’ll need to consider the physical size of your lens and focal length. A lens as wide as a 20mm will likely suffer vignetting… not a fault of the box, just something to consider. For £60 I’d say this is excellent value for money, it’s very nicely made Hope my review was helpful

This is a really great quality matte box from K&F. Ideal for videographers and filmmakers it's made with a combination of aluminium alloy and carbon fibre, which means it's lightweight but durable. The carbon top flag is a particularly nice touch, looks great while reducing lens flare and controlling light :) The matte box comes with two 4 x 5.65" filter trays, which slide in and out smoothly. It supports a decent range of lenses with the included adapter rings (67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, 95mm) so it can be used with different camera setups. The matte box also supports the use of two filters simultaneously, giving you more creative options. Easy to use, looks great, feels solid. Great bit of kit and it even has a great looking carry case.

As expected, this is a quality item. K&F items always seem to have a quality that is higher than you'd expect for the price. It comes in a nice case to protect the matte box and you get a decent range of adapter filters. It doesn't go as low as I'd like with the adapters, but for most people and most uses it should cover you for most needs. For my lens with the smallest filter mount I can just use a separate filter thread adapter that I already have and fit that to the 67mm adapter included with this kit. The kit I got had not filters, but I already have several ND filters of this type and the holder tray works smoothly and easily. It is a cumbersome item compared to "normal" filters, but if you need something like this - and if you do need it you will definitely know you need it - it works well with no issues and is well made. Another K&F 5 star item, I'd say.

The K&F Concept Matte Box impresses with its excellent workmanship and quality. It is not only robust but also very lightweight and compact, making it an ideal companion for on the go. Despite its light weight, it offers the necessary protection and flexibility expected from a high-quality matte box. A major advantage of this model is its versatility, enabled by the included adapter rings. These adapters allow the matte box to be easily used with various lenses of different sizes. This is especially useful if you work with multiple lenses and don't want to constantly change equipment. The matte box also comes with a practical hard-shell case that ensures safe transport. The case reliably protects the matte box and the adapter rings from bumps and scratches. Overall, the matte box offers an excellent combination of quality, flexibility, and ease of use. It is a valuable addition to any camera setup and is particularly well-suited to filmmakers looking for a lightweight and versatile solution.

I ordered the K&F Concept Matte Box for my camera and my Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which also has a 67mm filter thread in the photography kit so I don't always have to use my camera. < I really like the workmanship with the carbon fiber. Light, stable and high-quality < Extremely versatile for a wide variety of lenses, thanks to the different filter thread sizes < In use, it fulfills its purpose absolutely reliably and is a qualitative enrichment < Small pack size when traveling, especially without the case < High-quality case for storage. You don't have to use it, but you can and it makes a good impression I am very happy with the Matte Box, just as I have been very happy with various K&F filters. Here you get a price/performance ratio.

The matte box can be easily attached to the front of a lens using the various adapter rings. Two slots for 4" x 5.65" filters are included. This allows you to combine an ND filter with a Black Mist filter, for example. The respective adapter rings also have a filter thread, so that a 67mm filter could also be attached to the 67mm adapter ring. It is relatively easy to use. In some parts the matte box could feel a little more high-quality. The fact that it is made primarily of plastic is, however, at least beneficial in terms of its low weight. There are threads on the bottom, back and top, which can be used to attach the matte box or to connect additional accessories. There is also a hot shoe on the top, although the top flag tends to get in the way. I like how compact and light the matte box is; it functions well. I don't like how big the storage and carrying bag is. It's a large hard case and has a very generous cutout for the adapter rings, making it taller than if the bag had been designed just for the matte box. I find the shape a bit unwieldy, but otherwise, it's nice that one is included at all, so I'm not deducting any points for it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the K&F Concept Matte Box. It's a good alternative to existing brands in this category.
