This is a very good tripod if you simply want the basics. It feels high quality and does what it says of the tin. It's compacted enough that you can fasten it in with a bag that has multifunctional straps. It hold my APSC camera with a big lens with ease.

This item was a present and my partner really likes it; he says it is smartly designed and perfect for what he was needing.

I really like this tripod as it fits my needs perfectly. It is light in weight and folds to a small size and has a handy carrying case. I did not need a heavy duty tripod since I use it for either my laser level or gopro camera and find this a prefect match in size and weight. Easy to setup and adjust to needs with a nice ball head that lets me move the head not the whole unit.

The stand itself makes a very good impression. Unfortunately, it was only used once.
The ball head was defective after 2 readjustments. The cell phone was immediately tilted away in some direction. There was no way to reattach the head with the appropriate screw. It was therefore unfortunately returned as a defect. Very unfortunate...

Update 12/24:

The customer service (retailer) got in touch with us and I received a new stand. I'm absolutely thrilled! It works and is stable, the customer service was great. I've never experienced anything like this on Amazon. Customer satisfaction is important to retailers. Thank you so much!

This tripod is made well and does what it needs to do. I haven't had any issues with any of the joints or locking mechanisms and it has been steady in my uses.

A very good, compact stand, but I found the plastic plate on the ball head a bit too light, but quite ok. I liked the workmanship on all the other parts of the stand.
I then “replaced” it with another Arca-Swiss plate (slightly larger overall & made of metal).
Which was very easy - with the Allen wrench that comes with the stand.
(You have to say I ordered the plate for my gimbal & just again later)
I don't regret choosing this stand & I'm used to the good quality of K&F products.
