The setup and usage of the camera are extremely straightforward. I’m able to have it ready with my iPhone within just 5 minutes. The interchangeable heads are great, especially the hook head, which helps me pick up tangled hairs easily.

Bought to check the situation behind a wardrobe and I must say it came in very handy. Tried both iOS with no issues, the app is a bit spartan but does the job.

Review of the K&F Concept snake camera for endoscope/borescope inspection. I already have a device with a separate display and an endoscope inspection camera. It's bulky, requires charging before use, and requires an SD memory card to function. The image quality left a lot to be desired. This device is very portable and only requires an iPhone's Lightning port and an app. I tested this with an iPhone 7 Plus and the endoscope worked perfectly. Setup took about two minutes. Finding the correct orientation on one of these endoscopes takes practice. Once I found the position where everything looked natural and wasn't positioned a few degrees to the left, right, or upside down, I used a paint marker to mark the top of the camera body with a yellow dot just below the grooved area. This way I know which direction the endoscope is facing. The image quality is much better with this endoscope than with the other device because I view objects on a larger display. The images are a bit grainy, although I was still able to easily identify objects. I had to dim the LED brightness to see certain things. The snake section is semi-rigid and fits easily around pipes and tubes. Perfect for use around the home, at sea or in the car. The small included brackets attach to the grooved area of the camera body and cannot be easily removed. The mirror attachment hardly serves any purpose. The magnet attachment should be able to hold small metal objects. The hook attachment has enough material to adapt to a different design. The camera body becomes warm when the LEDs are set to full brightness and used for a short period of time. Keep an eye on your iPhone's battery. If the camera LEDs are set to their brightest setting, the iPhone's battery will drain over time. The app is easy to use and allows you to take/save photos or videos of what you are looking at. The app offers two additional zoom levels. The option to change the view to a 90 degree angle view can be helpful in some situations. There is also the option to view images in color or black and white. For portability and versatility, this tool has many uses — at home or in the workshop.
