I was excited to photograph my first eclipse and was looking for a filter to keep my camera safe. Considering that my camera is almost $4000, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't messing up my sensor taking photos of the sun. This kept my gear safe and allowed me to view and photograph the eclipse without issues. Highly recommended and looking forward to photographing this event again in the future!

I was able to use this filter to safely photograph eclipse 2024 with my Nikon P950. Sunspots were clearly resolved and I look forward to using it for other solar activity. Only use a viewfinder that looks through the filter my friends.

This ND100000 filter is exactly what I needed for the 4/8/24 eclipse. I got excellent images using it before and after totality. The images were clear without apparent distortion and sunspots were clearly visible. The filter's threads are properly machined and it is priced quite reasonably.

This filter blocks a lot of light and allows you to look at things as bright as the sun. You can also run an ultra long exposure for artistic purposes with shallow depth of field during the day. I believe this will give you better result than stacking filters but I did not run any scientific experiments. It's always easier just to use one filter anyway though. If you've tried a 10 stop before, this is like that but beffed up a little bit.

I got this for my wide-angle lens to photograph a sequence of Suns. I have the 95mm version of this filter and it works very well. The filter produces a neutral color rendering of the Sun. Some people have an issue with this, but I don't find it problematic. It can be warmed up in post-processing easily enough if you want an orange-colored Sun. Note: if your goal is to photograph the Sun with a foreground, shoot the foreground before or after the Sun and blend the images in post. This filter is very dark. Perfect to photograph the Sun with.

Started long exposure photography so I thought I’d give these a go. They seem to be of good quality and had no issues yet. For the money, I think they’re good quality. Recommended.
