I bought this to photograph the eclipse on April 8, 2024 and since I'll probably not experience another eclipse, I doubt I'll ever use it again. But the shots were not too shabby (even though my nephew did just as good a job with my iPhone, a much cheaper filter, and a specialized app on the phone).

I used this filter to take photos of the recent solar eclipse. We had 65% eclipse here and the filter performed well.

I bought this filter to make some photos to the last total eclipse on april 8th. It totally worked an I was able to took the pictures shown here. Even though in my location was only about 90% of the sun totally covered worked perfectly fine. The filter came nicely packaged with three microfiber cloths on separated closed bags.

Bought this specifically to use with my zoom lens for the recent solar eclipse (April 2024) Worked as expected - was able to create a montage of the eclipse (uploaded). Was very happy with how it turned out. Quality of the filter was excellent.

This is a great filter for taking photos of the sun. I bought it for the US eclipse in 2024, and it worked as expected. Be advised, this filter is so dark, you can't really see anything other than the sun, but for taking photos of the sun, it's perfect.

Bought this in anticipation of the '24 eclipse and was absolutely blown away with what I captured!
Excellent quality ultra dark solar filter to have for such rare occasions or even just to try out some ultra long-exposure photography!

I've been wanting a filter to start imaging the sun especially since being in this light polluted area I live in and expense will prohibit me from any night time astep imaging. The eclipse was the perfect excuse. The filter performed as advertised without any autofocus issues on my Nikon D200 with a 80-400mm vr lens fitted. Metering issues were because of my inexperience with photographing the sun but I'm sure I'll get there.

I used it for the April 8th 2024 eclipse and it was perfect. I used it on my Fuji 150-600 lens. I was able to see sunspots and they were super sharp. I posted up my photos on photography pages online and I had comments saying that my pictures came out way clearer than theirs with another solar filter.
