62mm CPL & ND 2-32 Lens Filter in Brass Filter Ring, 36-layer-Coated Ultra-thin High-Definition Optical Glass, Waterproof and Anti-Scratch Anti-Reflection, Nano-Xcel Pro Series
SKU: KF01.3180
The price for the 77 mm variant is in a demanding range at €180; the expectations are corresponding. I compare the filter side by side with my Käsemann B+W KSM HTC-POL MRC nano XS-PRO DIGITAL, which is about 25% cheaper depending on the source.
The K&F circular polarizing filter comes in a high-quality cardboard slipcase packaging. The actual case is just as high quality. The question is whether such a chic case is also ideal for transport - or whether the classic plastic filter box does not offer better protection against mechanical damage or moisture. I mean yes.
Visually, I think the K&F filter is excellent, and that's the main thing. I can't tell the result from my Käsemann B+W filter. Both filters swallow a little more than 1 f-stop of light. The effect is indistinguishable. I don't notice any optical impairments or color shifts. See photos. In my example photos, I worked with a constant white balance.
The filter can be easily screwed in. It is approx. 5 mm thick without the filter thread, my Käsemann B+W filter is only approx. 4 mm.
Now my point of criticism, which leads to the deduction of a star. The filter is relatively stiff when new, in contrast to my Käsemann B+W filter. By turning it back and forth several times I got it smoother. But the circulation isn't quite even, there are places that run better and places that offer a little more resistance. No problem at all, the filter can be used without any problems, but as I said, we are talking about a high-priced product and I have the direct comparison.

First and foremost, the polarizing filter reduces reflections and light reflections. The image can thus be freed from disturbing elements while the photograph is being taken. Even if you call yourself a «Photoshop professional», the same results can never be achieved in post-processing on the PC as with a polarizing filter. These filters can be used in different situations. In addition to the ND filter and gray gradient filter, it is one of the most popular little helpers, especially in landscape photography or simply outside. Some examples:
You want to photograph a frog in a puddle. However, the sun shines so strongly that the picture becomes glaring and the sun is reflected in the puddle. The actual motif - the frog - is given far too little attention. It is precisely in such cases that a polarization filter is used, with which the sun can be almost completely removed from the image. The focus of the viewer is then fully on the actual motif. In general, the polarizing filter is often used with reflective water surfaces.
Every object reflects light. Otherwise it would not even be visible to the human eye. However, sometimes the reflection is so strong that the colors are distorted. A lush green meadow, for example, can suddenly look pale and boring because the color intensity decreases due to the strong light reflection. The polarizing filter also helps here. So it can not only reduce reflections, but also give a motif its strong, natural color.
The K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series polarizing filter is of very high quality and could be attached to my lens without any problems.
I snapped two pictures quickly, you can see the difference. The images are unedited.
The filter comes in an elegant case, including a cleaning cloth. The magnetic closure is great.
The price is totally fine, I can recommend this filter!

This CPL filter worked really well when used on my latest vehicle rig. I was most concerned about the reflections the windshield would create at some point during the shoot. Thanks to this filter, I was able to drastically reduce the glare and focus on my subject sitting in the car.
The filter itself is quite convenient to use. While using step-up/step-down rings can be a bit difficult to remove if you over-tighten them, in general a good rule of thumb is not to over-tighten filters. In this case I just wanted to make sure everything was incredibly secured as the rig would be in motion but otherwise I wouldn't have had this issue at all in normal scenarios.
Overall I think it's worth the price. I've used cheaper alternatives that didn't really give the same result as this K&F Concept CPL filter. Personally, I believe that using cheap gear sometimes cheapens the results and overall quality of some videos. In this case, K&F Concept did an excellent job considering the price. Yes, it's definitely premium, but it's worth the price.

I already have quite a few filters at home, including the K&F Concept Nano-X ND Filter 77mm Variable Gray Filter ND2-32 for 75 euros, which I use on my wide-angle lens, e.g. in bright sunshine (for wide-angle shots) and for long exposures and it's really good. Now I was allowed to test the variable ND filter from the PRO series from K&F, a filter for a whopping 280 euros. Of course, if you are already working with filters, you should also use high-quality glass on a high-quality lens, but a filter for just under 280 euros is not trivial and this investment should be well thought out. What I can say in any case: The filter is not only at the top in terms of price but also in terms of performance and processing. So I can work with my lens in bright sunshine with an open aperture and, if I like, also realize long-term exposures with a slightly closed aperture with the help of the filter. As I said, the image quality is as good for me as if I hadn’t had a filter on the lens at all and that’s how it has to be that is. The pictures I uploaded (undemanding test shots) were taken with the aperture open and against the sun. My conclusion on this filter: Very high-quality workmanship/image quality without errors/haptics excellent. Price very high Everyone must now decide for themselves whether such an investment is possible. The shots I uploaded (undemanding test shots) were taken with the aperture open and against the sun. Neutral density filters have become indispensable in photography. Especially in landscape photography they are constantly used. You know those great pictures of flowing water that look so "fluffy" soft - for something like that you need a neutral density filter, for example.
A neutral density filter or "ND filter" (neutral density filter) absorbs the light, allowing you to expose longer. It looks so amazing because of that long exposure and the movement of the water.
Taking pictures with a neutral density filter obscures the incoming light and allows you to take better pictures in very bright environments.
In turn, using a ND filter in bright environments allows you to shoot with a larger aperture or slower shutter speeds.
You can achieve beautiful effects by taking pictures with a longer exposure time.
Images tend to be overexposed when you use a particularly slow shutter speed.
With a gray filter you can prevent this and take pictures with a long exposure time despite a lot of light.
As a result, movements blur and flow into one another.
For example, you can display water or clouds as well as fast-moving objects in a particularly creative way.
The K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series ND1000 filter impresses with its excellent quality, it is delivered in a stylish case (magnetic closure). Including cleaning cloth.
I shot the five pictures and numbered them. The difference is obvious.
The filter is worth the money, it is simply screwed on and even my lens protection still fits on it.
This filter makes you want more and gets full marks from me!

I received the polarizing filter for free as part of the Vine program to test. Since mine from another manufacturer is already getting on in years and does not fit my most used lens, I was happy about it.
Even the packaging is very high quality and the supplied bag is very well thought out and easy to handle. You can even make a pretty frame out of the packaging.
A microfiber cloth for cleaning is also included.
The filter does a good job removing annoying reflections and enhancing the colors in the image (green from the grass, blue from the sky and also white against a blue sky). For this reason, the filter is great for landscape photography. Naturally, the polarization filter reduces the light by up to several f-stops. However, this must generally be taken into account when using such filters. However, this is not a problem, especially when taking landscape photos with a tripod.
The filter was inexplicably stuck (couldn't find any handling error or wedging) on the lens when first used. That's why I only gave it two stars in the rating. He also does not use force to remove. It could only be removed again using a special tool from a third-party provider. After that I changed the rating to 5 stars. Because the filter lost some color on the frame when I tried it without special tools, but it held up great and still worked great. Now and then I can't get it off when using it. But after I screwed something on the adjustment ring for the polarizing filter, it then came off again. Just not without problems. That's why I'm correcting my rating again! 4 stars this time. It's still a mystery to me why this works. You can hardly grab it because the back ring is so narrow that you can't grab it with your bare hands. In my opinion a design flaw!
This high-quality filter offers good value for money.

The "K&F Concept Nano-X ND Filter 77mm" comes in elegant packaging, which is easy to open and you can carefully remove the filter. The bag that goes with it is well made, everything looks very classy and you can expect that for the price. The filter itself is of very high quality and you can see all the key figures directly. Furthermore, it has two brass noses, which can be easily adjusted. Here you always have a good feeling and you overshoot (turns too fast) or too slow, but you always have the right feeling when adjusting. The resistance here is just fantastic. The image that can be conjured up from the filter is simply overwhelming and is worth its price. Here it makes no difference whether you have sun in the picture or are completely blinded,

The CPL filter from K&F comes in such an attractive packaging that you can immediately conclude that you have something really high-quality in your hand.
In the box you will find a noble-looking case with a magnetic closure, which protects the filter very well.
This CPL filter is "slim", which has the small disadvantage that you can't hold it a little harder when turning.
Which brings us to the only small point of criticism on my part.
Otherwise you get a very high-quality CPL filter here, which fulfills its purpose perfectly, namely to reduce or prevent reflections, which makes the photos appear richer in contrast and more interesting in color as soon as they are taken.
In post-processing, there are limits in this respect, and quite apart from that, I very often save myself post-processing because the photos simply come out of the camera in a more harmonious way and without looking artificial.
The quality is impeccable, the filter itself is of very high quality.
The image quality is perfect, no color fringes or distortions.
For that 5 stars.
A filter that I absolutely recommend!

I was always of the opinion that a cheap filter set was enough. After this filter, my opinion completely changed. The quality of the filter is excellent. I really didn't think that was possible, totally flashed by this filter... Quality and workmanship is excellent. The controller is made of metal and here alone you can tell how good the workmanship is.
You also have to keep in mind that photo quality is affected by filters. This is not the case with the K&F filter! The highlight is that I don't need umpteen different replacement filters, but can always adapt them directly to the respective situation. Personally, I still miss the stronger gradations of up to 10 apertures. However, I am really so enthusiastic about this filter that I will see if this filter is still available in 6-10 f-stops. I would definitely buy one, even if I've worked with cheap filters around 50 EUR so far. Quality has its price and in this case it is true! But for the price you really get something here.
By the way, the filter fits well on the lens and I'm not afraid of losing it. It's very easy to use. The gray filter comes in a nice bag and is therefore very well protected.

The K&F Concept filter arrives safely packed here. It comes with a duster and a bag for storage. The processing of the filter is really first class. High-quality materials, super handling, perfect fit and not too heavy on the lens or in your hand. The filter is simply attached to the lens using a rotating mechanism. The filter conjures up wonderful pictures that you don't have to rework. The price is certainly a deterrent at first - but you get one of the best filters on the market here in my opinion. Professionals MUST strike, amateur photographers CAN strike without hesitation
